the episode is about the scoobie gang all having bad dreams and die in them because they invoked the first slayer when they killed adam

wel........in all ther dreams a man with cheese always pops up

soooo what does it mean?
does it have anything to do with the buffy episodes to come?

heehee

oh rite.....i look a plonker wel it did make me laugh lol.....anyone else got any other ways of looking at it

Joss explained that it was too show the irrelevant part of dreams or something like it. Anyways, the cheeseguy was featured in s7 aswell in flash.

I think he was in another ep besides S7 but he just does the same thing, and has his cheese with him. He's in Andrews episode in S7.

Joss has stated that a lot of people have come up to him and were trying to figure out the meaning of the Chees Man. Joss says he realized he was doing something right on the show if people couldn't get it. The Cheese Man had no meaning. Joss simply needed something as the thing that makes no sense whatsoever in dreams. Thus, the Cheese Man.

yea, it had no meaning, totally irrelevant. just some thing Joss kinda stuck in there to be funny, and to show how weird dreams can be. I thought the cheese guy was great....

Same here, he was what I best remembered about the episode. How could you forget "I wear the cheese, it does not wear me." Lol, that guy was great.

I don't think there is any 'foreshadowing' meaning between the cheese man in all of their dreams.

Just something funny. Something that connects them all.

The Cheese man was in "Storyteller" when Andrew and Jonathan are in Mexico.
(I hope that it does not spoil that for anybody.)

When I first saw Restless I was like what the heck is this bloke all about? A humourous thing to be put into the episode for sure!!!

The cheese man was creepy and evil. I think he was there to tempt them with his wicked, tainted, cheese. He should have been the final big bad. He creeped me out more than the first did...

Whichever way you turn it, I still don't believe he was completly meaningless.

LOL, really, he was quite meaningless...😛

I think he was there to make ya go...huh? Pft...wahahahahaha!

And it worked for me! 😀

But I DID mean it when i said he was creepy...*shudders*

i think you have a strange fear of cheese Rayne. but i kinda see your point. I wouldn't want him in any if my dreams...lmao

i still think he was completley meaningless, just thrown in there for laughs, or to creep out Rayne

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

i just was laughin my head of and i noticed another thing about that episode. spike and giles wer both watchers and swingin on swings. can anyone els ethink of any other wierd stuff in that episode???? im sure thers loads...........
