Hey is there anything you can remember from you childhood that really scared you and even now when you think about it , it gives you goosebumps???

I have plently please share?

Well, as a child I was always surprisingly fear less. Really, there is othing I was really scared about...my fears developed way after my childhood. On the contrary to that, my brother was afraid of everyone and everything, evewn his own shadow, haha.

stephen kings It.... and the fact that we used to play the game at a place that looked like the river tree bit in the movie.... not strange at all honest, we used to play aliens too... i would die at the end... i was ripley lol... this is when im like iddy bitty rachel. silly mother letting me watch these movies.

i used to have... okay maybe i still do... about freddy krugers hand coming up the toilet.... or seeing things in my tv screen.

if i was ever scared or had nightmares tho i used to go to my nan and not my mother when i was like 2 or 3 and lived with them, i didnt feel safe with my mother... dunno what that says about me but i was always closer to my nan.

i couldnt put my feet outside my bed incase something grabbed them... and im afraid of stairs at night, and mirrors...

i get wigged out by my own brain.

don't you want a....balloon?
I once saw me pops naked on like by accident.. that was some scary stuff! Time I saw someone peering in me bedroom window was scary stuff too.

I had a fear of spiders pretty bad I guess, I even used to pull my bed into the middle of the room because the few times there were huntsmen in my room they were in the corners, so I figured that I'd be safer away from the corners of the ceiling!
The one movie that really freaked me out was The Changeling. I don't know if anyone has seen it, none of my friends have, but it absolutely terrified me!

For some reason mirrors used to scare me, it was ok during the day or with a light on but as soon as it was dark mirrors used to freak me out. I remember sleeping at a mates place when I was in primary school and screaming at her to cover the mirror! I swear I saw people and owls in them (I duno why I saw owls, Im not scared of them haha) it was weird. I couldnt sleep with them facing me ever.
I never liked the door closed either, I hated being 'trapped' in my room, especially with a mirror 😛

trapped with a mirror...ahhh! i couldnt have the door open, incase anything got in... never mind that its somewhere for an evil thing to go to.

im claustrophobic too, and panic very quickly. even in crowded places in public.

still scared of spiders, but im getting better,... as you could tell when i slept downstairs.

Remember. Always check the Ready Brek.
Re:

Closets. Nothing else. Loved insects, the dark, wasn't afraid of the boogeyman or what was under my bed. Just closets. Before my mother could leave the room at night she would have to close the closet door. How weird am I? Anybody wish to phsycoanalyze? LOL.

closets are scary! if the door is open a little bit its freaky, dunno if it has anything to do with things like Halloween... maybe. no i have one of the doors always wide open... it freaks me out if they are both closed.

After seeing a scary movie, I checked my wardrobe, under my desk, under my bed... if there weren't any monsters/snakes/thieves/big spiders were on it 😀

im so glad all my fears are from my own mind and nothing bad happened to me as a child.

even tho i get the wiggins very easily i never actually think anything bad is going to happen.

When I was really young I used to be really scared of the lego man at lego world, I screamed my face off everytime he came near, AND I did the same with the wimpy man. Basically I don't like people dressed up in freak costumes. Also I used to be scared of buses, buses turning corners, I always think they're going to fall on their side and kill everyone, I still have that fear actually, I don't like buses.

Well, around the time I was in 1st grade my family and I were traveling through Texas (near Amarillo I think).
This is where I learned to swim. My father threw me into the middle of the pool and said "sink or swim".
That was scary. When I made it to the edge, he picked me up and threw me back in just to make sure I knew how to swim.
Later that same night I was watching tv and an episode of Night Gallery came on where zombie dudes rose from the ground.
That wasn't nearly as scary but it did spark my fascination for zombie movies.

awwwwwwww poor you, oh and aussie
When I was a youngin' I was afraid of automatic flushing toilets. I flat out would not use them, even if on an eight-hour car ride.

Snakes, always snakes. I even hated those rubber toy ones. I have no idea where this fear come from but my god I hated snakes. Of course one of my uncles decided to get some snakes and not the small ones. No, it had to be boa-constrictors. And they constanly escaped. Sometimes then we went to visit him he asked us to wait outside until he found them all and put them back!

As the caring person he is (of course) he wanted to show us kids that they weren´t dangerous, so one time it was "pet time". He took one of them out and we would get to know it a little better. Even if I knew boa-constrictors don´t usually bite I chose to stay far away from the head. So I petted (?) it as far away as possible. The result? The snake being "angry"/worried since it had no idea what was touching it. That didn´t help anything at at all and after that I´ve never tried again.

I still hate snakes but I´m handling it better. At least on the outside. But having the choice I stay away. But now I can watch Raiders of the last ark without automatically putting my feet up during certain scenes... 😀

I was never really scared of anything that I can remember, then or now.

When I was about 2, this alasation ran up to me and knocked me over. And then it happened again when I was 6, different dog, same breed. Since then I've been scared of Alsations and big dogs.

I remember I had this really weird but scary at the time dream about this old lady with big square eyes who would be at my church saying "hello little girl, come and get in my van..." in this really creepy voice and then I would scream and try to run up the stairs but they would have grown...and then I'd wake up! I remember thingking that was the scariest dream I'd ever had haha

The Wheelies from Return to Oz - they still scare me now.
