Children's Names

"Bella" is high on the list, but actually, I think it's more because "Isabella" is #1 right now and so it's derivative of that? That's what I tell myself, anyway. 😛

"Jacob" has been #1 on the boys' list for some time though. So, bleh!

my favourite boy names are michael (family name), seamus, finn, quin, dante, jasper, jeck, phineas

favourite girl names are alice, kaisa, saoirse, annabelle, sara, eilish

Lots of Irish influence!
I so want a boy to name Jakob. It's a life dream. lol

Hubby and I can't decide on a girl's name for anything though.

I like Ava.

Well, I just named my daughter about 3 months ago (lol) and her name is Brystle Olivia. If we were going to have a boy it was going to be Alexander (Xander) James. If we have another girl (someday), I like Novalee Grace.

I really don't have a clue, I also have to choose between italian or english name! My family is half n half and my parents called me with an english name (David) and my sister with an italian one (Sabrina)! 🙂 I think I'll go with double names, nothing too complicated though! My mom really wanted me to call me Gareth, and I don't really see that as easy-pronounceable for italian people!! 🙂

I don't really want any children, but I've always loved to imagine what I would name them. It changes from time to time. I like names that aren't as common, but I try not to come up with too weird names, too special names. Although it turns out like this sometimes... And because I love naming things so much, I give middle names to my pets as well.

So right now, it might change a minute later, but for a boy I like Aiden and Graham.
For girls, it would probably be either Chantal, or Kaya or Gia (my bunny's name, but still), or Aniston (not after Jennifer). I like girl names that sound like supermodel names. I don't like old fashioned names.

I'm always open to original names, as long as I like it and it works, it's fine by me.

My wife and I like somewhat odd names. Nothing too strange, or completely original; names you've heard a few times and then later forget.

My kid's names are:
Phoenix (boy) / Brodie (girl) / Juno (girl)
..which in short we call them PB&J

Now we couldn't really agree on names. 3 of my names came from buffy, which were Doyle, Buffy & Anya. Some names I like are Darwin, Liam, Mickey, Kennedy, Elvis, Ocean, Ireland.. and I can't recall some of the other ones.

I really like old fashioned Arthurian names as well, like Merlin and Gwendolyn, but I'd never name my child something like that, they'd probably get bullied for it.

I love names! I'm better with girl names than boy names but yeah. If I was to name a boy child right now it would be Shane. That's what I'm naming my boy child when/if I have one. It's a name that my father was going to be called and if I was a boy it was what I was going to be called. So it's Shane. Plus, I like that name.

But for girls...Faye, Maygen, Avelia and Beverly are the names I'm hoping to get to use. 🙂

Children's names have always fascinated me. I'm not interested in having kids of my own personally (at least no time soon). But from some of the crazy names I've heard, I'm definitely taking my time on this. I mean, c'mon, Champagne? My daughter wouldn't be caught dead.

Get in the chat, dude!
I actually like old names haha, well traditional ones I guess. I wanted my parents to name my younger sister Prudence after the Beatles song. Every adult, including my grandparents, laughed at that idea. I also like the names Phoebe and Fiona, and I told myself a long time ago that if I had twin daughters, that's what I'd name them. I love the name Persephone...but I'm 99% sure that that's only because of the whole "queen of the underworld" thing. I like Charlie for a boy. I don't plan on having kids any time soon, so I have time to decide 😉
