Chosen opening titles

Since it was the final episode, I was a bit disappointed that "Chosen" just had regular season 7 opening titles. I was hoping there would have been a special opening titles set that had clips from all through the series.

Especially as the seson 5 finale had that cool sepcial recap thing. They couldn't have done that again, it would have been too repetative. But special opening titles would have been cool. They could even have included (uncredited of course, since they were not in the show anymore) brief clips of Oz, Angel, Cordelia, Jenny, Tara and others.

And ended with a final powershot of Buffy picking up the scythe from the previous episode (or somethig else!).

But you could look at it from this side: They're keeping it traditional. Maybe it's kind of cool that it's just the simple opening. The classic opening, for the last time ever.

If a person is credited on screen, I believe the use of the person's name requires payment. The credits are the place for the people who are in that episode and no one else. Want to see who was on the show? Check imdb.com.

My idea was simply to feature brief clips of past characters, WITHOUT the actor's name. This does not constitute a "credit" and therefore no payment is required. I did say in my original post the word "uncredited".

This is indeed possible. For example, there are many episodes in Season 6 that Tara does not appear in. Amber Benson was not a main cast member and was only paid for the episodes in which she appeared. But she still appears in brief shots, uncredited, in the opening titles. Even in episodes she did not appear in and was not paid for.

If you want another example, what about any number of the demons/monsters who appear on the opening credits? I doubt the actors who played The Gentlemen continued to be paid for their appearances on the opening credits!

I like the idea but they were pressed for time with this episode as it was 😛

Yeah that would have been really sweet if they could have done a summary of all the main characters and started from s1 flashbacks all the way to s7. (im not thinking about the payment of the actos for being in credits, just the idea in general).
But it would have made the episode more sad that its the end 🙁 *sniff*

I seen a few decent Buffy music vids that where nice the Vids were great...but the music more often then not so great.

I'd love to make my own version, I am pretty good at that sort of thing.

However I really don't know to rip my Buffy dvds onto my laptop. Every software I ever try doesn't work 🙁
