After watching this seasons finale, the show's finale, and season 5's finale, the essential question rises, which one did you think was better? Chosen or the Gift?
 
I'm not so sure...
Battle: Chosen without a doubt
Moments:I think The Gift, but Chosen had many too
Ending:I don't know if I like the gravestone better than Buffy smiling...

Too soon for me to choose
 
Yeah, Ive seen The Gift a gazillion times, it's only fair to give the same odds to Chosen before I choose.
 
i haven't voted yet.....i can't seem to decide which one i like better....i mean, in "the gift" buffy had a very dramatic death while in "chosen" she got the chance to live a normal life so....i can't decide yet :: blush ::
 
Chosen. By far. And I love both episodes, but Chosen wins because of the great ending. I think it was the perfect ending and it conveyed what Joss wanted to uhhh...convey, the whole year. This girl has power. I loved when Buffy told the First to get out of her face. IMO, that was how the First died. Buffy wasn't afraid of it, like Faith and Wood said, it makes you afraid.

Anywho, enough incoherent ramblings, I loved both, but I liked CHosen better and despite being rather anti-clamatic, it had the perfect ending.
 
i can't pick one, so i'm not going to vote.

the gift made me cry at the end, and it gave the season5 storyline such a bang of a conclusion that it was breathtaking

but chosen was the perfect ending to the show, and the writing was the best in a long, long time. very funny and action-packed, just the way buffy should be.

so there.. I AIN'T PICKIN'!

yeah I cant choose, if Joss truly wanted it to end and didnt have any real ideas of ever bringing buffy back then TheGift but Chosen leaves alot of possiablities to bring the charecter of Buffy and everyone else back and they could always start off where they left
 
I'm going with "The Gift" for the ending, because it's so sad and amazing the way it's done with Buffy's talk to Dawn while she jumps, and it's saying that she's happy.. Neato.

"Chosen" was a really good episode, but I have some beefs with it, such as why the Ubervamps became so weak. Before, Buffy had a hard time killing one! Now all the new slayers are killing so many of them with ease.. That was just odd. Plus, the ending to "Chosen" was so open ended, and that just makes me wonder if a spin-off will happen, and if it doesn't, I'll be waiting still. Stupid thing.
 
I can't vote. I think "The Gift" was a better episode, but "Chosen" had a better ending for the series.
 
i picked "chosen" because buffy gets to live!
i was so sad when i saw her die in "the gift". i actually thought that it was the end of the show back then! i remember scrambling on the internet, trying to find out if it was over or not because i was baffled as to how the show could possibly continue with the tombstone and all.

so it's chosen for me! life has so much conflict and stuff. it's good to see some happy endings, even if it's on a show. (it's a plus that it's a show that i love!)
 
I chose 'Chosen'. 'The Gift' was sadder but 'Chosen' had buffy live and the huge sharing of power. The battle scene was brilliant and good ol' sunnydale got blowed up!
 
Even though both episodes were great, and both had their great moments, I voted for "Chosen". I picked this one because it was a much more climactic battle, and the whole episode was amazing, whereas in "The Gift", the only really interesting scene, for me anyway, was when Buffy sacrifices herself.
