Christian Kane to star in Spielberg mini series

INTO THE WEST (TNT) - Sean Astin ("Jeremiah"), Beau Bridges ("10.5"), Gary Busey ("I'm With Busey"), Jessica Capshaw ("The Practice"), Tyler Christopher ("All My Children"), Rachael Leigh Cook ("She's All That"), Balthazar Getty ("Traffic"), Daniel Gillies ("Spider-Man 2"), Lance Henriksen ("Millennium"), Emily Holmes ("Taken"), Christian Kane ("Angel"), Zahn McClarnon ("Momentum") and Will Patton ("The Agency") have been revealed as additional cast members on Steven Spielberg's epic 12-hour mini-series. The project, currently in production, is set to premiere during the summer of 2005.

I'm wondering.. Has anyone else been watching Into The West?
I saw the first episode with Christian in it tonight. He was a pony express rider.. I'm looking forward to the next episode, where I assume he will get more screen time. The series in general is pretty good, though it is not a typically paced show. The first 3 episodes span many many years, the better part of the main character's lives, and don't get to attached to any one character, because they get killed off a lot. Other than that I like it so far. It's airing on TNT every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night for anyone who's interested.

I love this miniseries! I've been watching every episode, my favorite being Manifest Destiny.

Yeah, Christian didn't have a HUGE part in last night's episode as the Pony Express riding son of Jacob, but I think he can spread his wings a little bit in the next episode. I'm really looking forward to the last three. I think they're gonna be great.
