That would be because I've spent the last four hours in a state of perpetual bliss listening to this. It's seriously awesome. Chris's version of 'Fast Car' is just amazing. I'm in love with 'Calling All Country Women' it makes me wanna get up and dance, something I avoid at ALL costs.

And HEY! Do you see Linds posting this thread? NO! So stick that in your pie plate, bingo!

I'll check out Fast Car. If it's crap, I'm holding you personally responsible.

I love 'Fast Car' anyway, so 'Fast Car' sung by Chris, who, IMO, has the best voice EVER, is like heaven for me, lol. It's like Steve singing 'Be My Baby' from Dirty Dancing, I love the song, but I love it even more when Steve's singing it.

Haven't got the album but i've listened to a few of them songs and he has got a great tone to his voice. "Let's take a drive" is really pleasant to listen too.

I agree. It's a great song, and awesome when sang acoustic, too.

I'm really loving the album's version of 'Seven Days'. I'd only heard it played live and acoustic before today.

*singsong* I alreeeeady got it 😀 Whiskey in mind is still my favorite, but I really like Fast Car and American Made.

'The House Rules' has been my favorite song, period, for the past four years. I don't see that changing anytime soon, but 'American Made' and 'Calling All County Women' are creeping up there, lol.

available on iTunes, score, I will so have to get this 😀 Thanks a million for posting or I would've missed it.

I had downloaded some of his singles earlier on (Thinking of You, Whiskey in Mind, American Made, Making Circles) and loved them. He's got a great voice, great sound and I hope this album catches fire fast.

Hello everyone,
Pardon the interruption but I'm here to pass on some exciting news that Christian Kane is heading downunder in Feb/March 2011.

He is making an appearance for 2 weekends (Adelaide and Sydney) as part of the Armageddon Expo, but will be doing some side concerts as well.

To coincide with the release of his 'The House Rules' full CD, this is one for all Southern Country rockers to go see.

Details of CD are at his website christiankanedotcom

I still cant post links but if you google Armageddon Expo Australia it will bring up the page for you (or pm me and I can send links that way I guess)

Thanks for your time and hope to see you there

I'm pretty excited! My buddy just got us 2 tickets to see him on 2/12 in Detroit, MI. Small bar called 'Toby Keith's I Love This Bar'

I might even get to meet him. So pumped. Here's hoping for LA Song.

Sorry to disappoint, but Chris won't sing LA Song. It's not his song, it's a song that was written for a TV show, and as this tour is to promote his solo work, he won't sing it. Sorry.

I've seen Chris and Steve three times and I have friends who have seen them more times than I can count, and he's never fulfilled requests to sing it.

Sorry. I love it, too.

This is for you from me, since I never properly thanked you for my banner (must've been sheer hell fof a Bangel to do a Spuffy banner)

(I know, you've probably seen this video a dozen times already...)

It's always a shock to me to discover a C&W fan outside the U S for some reason.

Aw thanks!! LOVE that song SO much. And I don't actually consider myself to be either a Spuffy or a Bangel now, I do lean more towards Bangel, but I'm kinda neutral, lol!
