Christina's Beautiful

I've never been a fan of her. I have no big issues with her, it's just because I'm not into pop music. I think "Beautiful" was a nice contrast to "Dirrty". Instead of making a "Dirrty #2", she made a decent video with a decent message. So I applaud her for that but not enough that I'm tempted to go out and buy her album.
 
I like her music but I just don't understand why someone so pretty would want to "skank" herself out. I'm kinda under the impression she has issues.
 
Major issues! Like i said above, i think she exposes herself due to lack of self-esteem (she has a desire to be loved) rather than great confidence . . .

Then Holly Valance came on and went one up on Christina and took her shirt off, performing in her bra 😀

As for Christina, lets remember that she has been slated over and over for her looks and fashion faux pas, during her career and this song obviously means alot to her... the picking on and beating up of the less then gifted in the looks department, Anorexia, a job like pop princess must come with it's issues, lets just bring up the Melanie C incident... You will loose weight before this new single release etc....

The shocking content, would be the anorexic girlie rubbing her stomach as she gazes into the mirror, the song is about how you percieve yourself and how others see you, lets think about what she saw in the mirror... was she still fat when she looked at herself? The Guys kissing, American TV isn't really used to things like that... I'm surprised MTV didn't force Christina to edit the video like they told her to remove 3 scenes from the Dirrrty video otherwise they wouldn't air it....

The new album is a fantastic piece of work, even if one of the tracks does sound surprisingly similar to the Sugababes debut single... 😕 Christina has found herself and lets hope she continues to shock the music industry, it's about time Pop came back with a vengeance 😀

And Melanie C makes a return next month with 'Here It Comes Again' another aritist that writes from the heart and doesn't cock it up.... yay!!!!

i read in maxim that she wants to show her sexy side and be freed of society's bounds. On the cover, the only thing she's not showing is 1 centimeter above her nani...she may think this is sexy...most guys think this is sexy...but from my perspective...subtlety and mystery is hella more hott than nacked...the funny thing is...that she's a virgin....she's dressing like a ho but she's a virgin...she gotta stop listening to the record company and falkin act like who she really is....

OH WHATEVER! It's just another angle the record company and your PR people have come up with for you. It's like all the different personas they came up with for Madonna over decades. I understand the concept of reinventing yourself but comprimising everything you are to sell records loses my respect for you as an artist.

Soulgasm, i think your'll find shes not a virgin if my memory serves me.

One of her songs i'm positive she wrote herself says something along the lines of... "sorry i'm not a virgin, sorry i'm not a slut". Even in heat theres a quote from her saying shes not a cookie cutter virgin.

Well I'm not going to condemn someone for not being a virgin. Beacause I'd pretty much condemn myself if that was the case. That whole issue doesn't mean alot to me. She has a great voice, but to me it seems she's trying to get us to look at her butt more than listen to her voice.

ROTFL The day a pop singer shocks the industry with their songs or film clips or whatever is yet to come. I think you should get some songs by a band called Nile, it'll give you a crash course in what the pop industry really can't handle 😉

Her new image etc etc rocks! I adore her new song and the video that goes with it; "Beautiful". I was listening to a music channel and it was doing a review of all the new vids...they said "Beautiful" was contriversal...ha! It was just Christina expressing her emotions and showing what she really is.

And everyone though Britney was a bad girl...ha! She's not as bad as Christina is she!!

I think everyone should give her a break, I had the first album and liked it and got 'Stripped' on Monday and I think it's great. Some of the songs sound very Alicia Keys-sy and I know she wrote one so thats probably why but I like the couple Linda Perry co-wrote, I think shes an amazing songwriter, wrote a few good ones for Pink too.I like song 2 (Can't Hold Us Down?) on stripped, kinda sounds like JLo and I was singing 'Fighter' all day at the court office today and got some strange looks as per usual.

In conclusion, Christina's got a lot of stick but I think she's great if not a bit bare in 'Dirty'
 
isn't it funny how christina considers herself an artist...when she plays no instrument...doesn't write her song...or is controlled by stylists....but she can still sing...i'm not saying her music is bad...its quite the opposite(gayest thing i've ever said0...but i would like her more if she were an artist
 
She's supposed to have done a lot of co-writing on the new album, so that gives her some credit. And after all the voice is also an instrument, and though pretty much everybody knows how to sing, singing as good as her is an art indeed!

Anyway she does need to get less depended and more of a real artist, that way we would finally be able to setle who's the best between her and Britney!
 
How? Because Britney writes as little, if not less, than Christina, but christina's the one with the amazing voice;I'd say it's settled already. 😀 I can sing, but god if I could get the power in my voice that Christina has, I would be over the moon!
 
When youre a singer, its not essential to be able to play an instrument or be able to write - its good if you can, but a singer is about singing. And Christina can hit those notes!

Can I just say Soulgasm... the gayest thing you would ever say, no wonder the censors feel the need to keep scenes of same sex intimacy off the screen (When and where they can) if those are the remarks out there....

Christina did indeed write some material for the album and I for one am glad she did, the album is expressing and conveying the message she wants to put across to her fan base and Beautiful is a great single....

Face it, you go to a christina concert you'll get £30 worth of Live Vocals... you pay the same or more for britney and you'll get wobbling boobs and a backing track with a few live oh yeah's thrown in there throughout her show.
 
I loved Christina since the begining and I'm not about to give up on her now.....I love her.....her music....her style......and passion to do what she does best...sing
