Christmas!!!!!

Love and hate

well I love christmas but I also hate it because my birthday is the 26th and most people forget about me or give me joint presents or everyones ill or hungover to even bother.


But I love it because I get a warm cosy feeling at the start of October. Reminds me of when all of my family was still here and my uncles annual new years party I can still remember the drunken singing they forced upon me and relatives.


Also the food is get chocolate ginger bread, roast potatoes.
We where quite poor growing up , well stretched my family fostered children too so we had to live off the basics . Fray Bentos pies ( pie in a tin)where a treat for a sunday , but christmas dinner was like a feast soup, big meal with roast potatoes and chicken. Then some pudding it was great. But also for me I got to have two days of opening presents as during the year i got bought nothing else .

But now christmas is a lonely time for me because my mum passed away threes years ago and its never been the same as other years have been . Yet i still have my family and close friends to share the yuletide fun with x
 
well i tend to just buy presents throughout the year that way its not such a mad rush so i currently have a big pile in my spare room under lock and key! Gwen has been super hyper since the start of november! she knows whats coming!
 
got my xmas music back.... well some of it.. about 21 hours worth... that should do it (for now)

21 hours? I don´t know how much I have in time but I have 1.10 MB and I guess thad don´t come close. But I think I´ll throw some of it away.

Please, please, please shut up. I love you, but, shut up. I want Christmas and New Year to be done and over with, anything that involves, people, eating people, socialising with people, I just don't wan't to think about it, so stop.
 
I'm an Atheist but Christmas is still always my favorite holiday. All of the happy people and couples and joy and giving is just what makes me so happy. Oh, and the presents. 🙂

Now to a little unusual christmas song. Well it´s not like they sing... Anyway, to watch this vid is now a kind of tradition around christmas. Not the greatest tradition in the world but I think I can spare 3 minutes at least once a year. Found a few more vids on the same theme. Funny since I don´t think I´ve heard it anywhere else.

Ok, ok, as TK pointed out, I stopped my shineybounceyOMGCHRISTMAS countdown. Now there are many possible reasons for this. I'll let you all choose:

a) SpoonsAreCool intimidated me into stopping.
b) As TK said, I reached JUST the right level of crazy.
c) I got bored of Christmas.
d) I was luring you into a false sense of security, so that one day you'd go out and BAM! it'd be Christmas.
d) I got distracted by new names and IRC weddings!

Anyway, today was an extra-christmasy day for me. I went and bought a little christmas tree for my room, and I'm decorating it with lights and tinsel and baubles now! Hey, if the coca-cola ads are on it's ok, no? :silly:

Oh, yeah, I forgot...

LMAO...I like your moxy...my roommates have dubbed me the Christmas Nazi cuz I won't shut about it and have started to sneak Christmas decorations into the apartment when they are not there..hehe...I can see you doing that too:D

I'm uber-excited about Christmas this year! I get to spend three weeks in Seattle, WA. for the season. My parents live there, and I've got the time off of work...Nothing but 3 weeks of R and R....*sigh* Thank god.
 
All my Christmas shopping is done, yay. 🙂 I'm bankrupt now, not so yay. 🙁
