Cinnamon Buns????

My feeling is neither Xander nor Amy think Xander could make the kiss work based on the spell.

In fact Amy taunts him.

Also I think they've used too much space suggesting a Xander/Renee romantic entanglement to mark it off as a red herring. To me it seems more likely that is the direction Xander is going to go romantically.

i don't really want it to be Satsu, but i think there's definitely evidence that no one can deny...unless it's really a huge red herring, and the floaty-feet man is the kisser.

Oh come on n4h! How can you show that piece from #2 and say Xander's not thinking about kissing Buffy. It's a *close up* of his eye.. he's thinking about it! Plus the Xander/Buffy thing was played with when she says 'Are you coming to bed?' earlier in her dream. But yeah the whole Renee thing is a mislead for me.. oi I'm so confused.

in my opinion im not putting my money for it to be Satsu...its a little obvious if it was, and i doubt joss would be like that....but then again Buffy does give her complements on her hair and the red head slayer, liah i think, mentions something about that buffy just wants to look t her hair, so maybe, other then a couple things here and there im lost, and i wana know lol

The floating feet from issue 1 were leading me away from the Satsu theory, but when I go back, and check, those feet are over that citadel place where they fight the monsters. They're not over the Scottish castle. So, if it's not Satsu who does the kissing, who is it? The flying feet guy no longer applies, unless he's tailing them around the UK in the air which seems silly. The way the spell is described, and other stuff seems to disclude Willow and Xander.

Well, in my view Xander never at any point stopped loving Buffy, so the specifics of the spell in no way exclude him as a possibility, and again, lip gloss aside, the blocking of the scene points to him.

If it WAS Satsu, her not being in the room, or if she was not being readily visible is a MAJOR no-no in the blocking of the scene. I find it odd that Jeanty who admits he was working VERY closely with Joss in handling things as small as facial expressions would have not had her there.

Huge SNAFU if she is the kisser. Leah, or Rowena, I wouldn't be happy, but I could buy it. Satsu, was not shown there, and it's just too much of a disconnect with the art.

Here's something interesting. You see the modified female symbol HERE on the blue button on Satsu's label, below the "Rude Girl" one? Does anybody know what the symbol signifies? I don't, but on a hunch I googled "bisexual symbol" and found THIS. There was no information on it though.

That, or she's a fan of The Artist Formerly Known as Prince.

For those of you who don't know, Prince a tiny ratlike artist from Minnesota was HUGE in the 80's, his career was on the wane, and in an attemt to recreate his image he changed his name to the above symbol.

And as I'm writing this, I realized I missed a post where goldenboy said the same thing. Oh well.

Am I the only one who thinks it was Xander? He has an immense love for Buffy (and not entirely romantic...just a 'love').

I also think it was Xander. He loved her in season 1, got a "brush off" and after that was with Cordy and Ania (two girls selfcentered enough not to notice Xander more-than-friendly devotion to Buffy).

It could easily be Satsu. Doesn't mean Buffy would respond. Just means Satsu is in love with our girl. But hey, if Buffy is going that way, I want it to be Faith. Let's see how Buffy feels when she see's faith all dolled up in a gown. Ahhh, sweetness.

I have recently heard at the Slay-a-Thon that it was, indeed, Satsu who kissed Buffy. After hearing this and looking back in the issues, it kind of seemed obvious. Like, why have Satsu stick out out of all the rest of the Slayers? Why did Buffy comment on her hair, but some of the other girls had cute hair? Why did Buffy chose her to come along on the "rescue Willow mission" when the girls said that it was a bad idea? Also, I didn't make this connection until reading the first post, (awesome connection, Blade69!), Buffy said "cinnamon buns" and then woke up and then later on in the issue Satsu let Buffy borrow her cinnamon chap-stick. Personally, if I were Buffy and was kissed and woke up from a dream, my first words would not be, "cinnamon buns!" It would be, "wow!"...or something to that effect...
