So let's talk about something you've heard against Spuffy that has been a reason for someone saying thry don't enjoy Spuffy and then argue why that's not true

Example : "Spuffy is full of hatred"
Clap Back : Spuffy is actually a story about love with passion and when you love hard, you get ups and downs in every relationship and you know what they say
War & love go hand in hand!

"Buffy is only with Spike because he's convenient."
Clap Back: Now maybe I can't make the best argument for S6, although it was a lot more than that, but when people who say that are referring to the comics, or simply S7, I want to stand up and shout from the rooftops. My best argument? Wow, you must really not like Buffy Summers, because any person who would do that, is a horrible human being; she is not with Spike out of convenience, and saying that is like a slap in the face to Spuffy fans and to Buffy herself.

Wow! I thought she was not with Spike after s6 because it was convenient. Don't get me wrong what I want to say is according to BTVS new relationship expert Xander believed that Spike and Buffy are not dating(by season 10) because they are too scared to date someone who they have a shot at being happy with. They are too scared to be that happy in the fear of end up losing them so its completely opposite.

For me even in S6 she was in love with him
Buffy never loved Spike
CLAP BACK but at the same time they admit that all of S7 was about Buffy and Spike, Buffy put Spike first consistantly because she had feelings for him, the potentials could see it and mentioned it when kicking Buffy out of the house, Andrew could see it and that scene of the pouring cereal in the kitchen represented how he viewed them, Giles talked about he saw it but wanted more for her, Buffy told Angel Spike was in her heart, she told Spike she loved him. You might not like the love but the love was there for everyone to see. And the fact that they are still together in S11 kind of proves it. It's just coincidence that after being in a relationship since S6 that they happened to fall in love later in the comics? No, the love has been there for a long, long time.

Wow I beyond agree with this. I have not heard this but you have no respect for Spuffy fans if you say this.
Buffy clearly has had a longer relationship with Spike then Angel which has spanned 10+ years in the comics !
Great clapback

Buffy put Spike first in the 7th season and thats what you do when you are truly in love with someone and want to spend the rest of your life with them.
The love was there since 5th season!

Comics don't REALLY count. ;)
Buffy never should have gone back to Spike in season 7 after what he did to her.

This one really ticks me off, so here's a clap back and several more claps in the background:

First of all, Buffy didn't go back to him. Spike came back to her. That's an important distinction, because it immediately establishes that Buffy does not have some sort of need for abuse or pain, which when people bring up drives me insane. But anyway, Buffy has always given second chances. Most of season 7's main characters spend a lot of the season doing what they can to deserve a second chance. And maybe people say this particular action is unforgivable. And it absolutely is. You cannot forgive the action. But the person is a different story. A person, if they truly deserve it, is never unforgivable. In my opinion, going to the ends of the earth to endure trials of pain and suffering in order to obtain the one thing that was missing from a potential heroic future warrants forgiveness in time. But even my opinion doesn't matter. Because Spike actually changed his person. He became something else, actually altering his existence. He destroyed a previous form that had no true ability to decide right from wrong. The soul not only provided him with the true perspective on what he did and everything he had ever done, it also provided him with the knowledge and ability to right those wrongs. Therefore, one could say that a soulless Spike was unforgivable, and, by fighting for his soul, he fought for his right and capability to be forgiven, and he won it.

I've heard this one which is disgusting
"Spuffy was a ship formed out of rape"

Clapback : First of all this is so disgusting and disrespectful. Second of all yes, Seeing Red happened & yes we were NOT happy what we saw happened. It was needed for Spike to go on the journey to get his soul back & change.
And speaking of that many of the Bangels seem to forget Angel hurt Buffy numerous times and Angelus needed to be defeated to change in the Becoming while Spike learned on his own that his actions were wrong & he made a mistake but it was necessary to hit rock bottom to build his character back up again.
