Class Anyone?

It was kinda a UK answer to Buffy. It was set at some kind of posh boarding school if I remember correctly and involved Witches.

Was it any good or not worth the time to see it .

So I shouldn't look it up then is what you saying .

Hex was better with hindsight, but it's worth it to see a young Michael Fassbender as Azazeal... he was definitely the highlight 😀

Watch Season 1 though, not Season 2.

@ChaseRules Why would they force it online ?

Cost saving measures by the BBC. I have to say, I've not watched the channel at all since it went online. 🙁

Thanks . And the BBC sounds cheap to me from what I hearing .

In what way? Still manages to produce some great tv.

When judging the BBC should you lump all the BBC channels together or divide them into groups or even one channel at a time?
Here I got access to (if I want): BBC World news, BBC Earth and BBC Brit (formerly Entertainment) but I'm guessing it's not the same everywhere outside the United Kingdom.

Yes, but @ChaseRules is a man! So that doesn't do anything for him😉 Unless of course he is?... Oh nevermind none of my biz😀

Which I think is a good example that we are still a long way off online television taken over from traditional viewing. I still think most people prefer the old way of viewing which to me is a good thing.

Agreed @Washburne BBC still provide a very good service for me, which includes a lot of its radio coverage also. I just think they need to be a bit braver sometimes and to think a bit outside of the box. A bit like they did in the case of the Office.

Dude, it wasn't appropriate to bring into the conversation, so please drop it.

I was actually referring to Fassbender's acting ability, it was the first thing I'd ever seen with him in, and he just wowed me with his performance and his presence on screen.

And yeah, he's good looking too, but look where he is now, in part because of Hex 🙂

On an additional note re: Class. Sometimes they show BBC shows online first and then they get aired on BBC2. Perhaps if Class is a hit online, it'll go onto BBC2. I feel that a Dr Who spin off will probably be treated with a little more respect than a purely online showing, especially if they get The Doctor as a guest star....

Sure I believe you, haha..
I just saw that Class is being advertised as coming soon on BBC Three, which is now an online only channel.

This means hardly anyone will actually see it.... a bit of a shame considering its pedigree as a Who spin-off..... 🙄

Wiki says Class will be released on BBC3 first, but then on BBC1, though there was no dates as yet

Interesting. The TV ad only mentioned BBC Three, but I guess if they get a decent viewership they might move it to BBC 1, but generally stuff will go to BBC 2 unless it's a massive hit....

Maybe it'll be shown on CBBC?

I'd be surprised if it weren't shown on BBC1 (or 2), as it's bound to be a hit, being part of the Who franchise. I heard the tag line this morning 'Time has seen your face and time doesn't forget' and it sounded so cool, especially the way Capaldi said it 🙂

Class sounds like a kid Doctor Who spin off probably similar in the vein of the Sarah Jane Adventures. The doctor guest starred on that.

So any idea on when it be coming out ?

It will be available on BBC3, which is a web channel, on 22nd October. It is meant to be for the young adult market, but I'm looking forward to seeing what they've come up with

I just saw the ad for it on tv. Looks like my kind of thing, it was advertised on ABC2 in Aust. It looks like it will air on free to air tv 24th october here.
