I thought the same thing. Since Clem was staying at Spike's, why didn't they even say anything to each other. I thought that was strange!

Maybe the crypt got blown up as collateral damage by Dark Willow during "Grave", and Clem felt awkward and somehow responsible because it happened on his watch. (Spike didn't seem to be in a "Hail, fellow, well met" mood, in any case.)

Most likely there originally was was an exchange of greetings between the two, but it got cut for lack of time.
