One of the things I do like in season 6 is Clem. Angel has had various friendly demons for a while, but I think Clem is the first real friendly demon we get on Buffy.

Yes, I agree. In Angel it was much more well established that there are good AND bad demons. Buffy didn't really show that often. I guess you could argue that good demons aren't drawn to the Hellmouth the way bad ones are though?

I was fond of this character as well. I think it would've been interesting to show his place in demonic society more. He may have hung around Spike and Buffy so much for protection from the other demons!

The avatar I have had and never changed since I joined shows that Clem is my kind of person. Opportunist? He gets Spikes crypt when Spike goes away. Sociable? He and Dawn get along great and Buffy thought enough of him to leave Dawn with him. (Of course, she did the same with Spike - maybe it's the crypt.) Fun-loving? He managed to scare the potentials in the demon bar. Healthy? He is a junk food junkie just like me. (I have taken the computer programmer's vow - I will eat nothing green unless it is meat.)
And his eight episodes were played by James C, Leary who trained as an engineer (just like me) and is now working as a game designer.

Maybe his kind nature seeped through into his character.
