It has to be the Queen Bee Mean Girl, for me, I absolutely loved every single teenage girl villain/clique movie as kid...that includes misunderstand underdogs like Faith and Andie from Pretty in pink, I like the awkard rebellious female underdog, like the brief period in the eighties, where they can be into boys who don't notice them not the current subversion of that trophe where they are nerds who are babes or their loveable dorks.
I also like the strong silent, still waters run deep type but this is a very moral and high integrity type distinct from the bad boy.
I dislike "The love of a good women" trophe. Which is why, even though I came around to what they were trying to do with Spike and Buffy, I never warmed to the character himself because I dislike the trophe. I know I was suppose to interpet Spike as sensitive but it looks more like macho misogyny to me, cry and pout antics always made me dislike him more, perhaps cause it felt like manipulation. That is what they do! they get rejected and then they get angry, sorry, can't feel bad for him. I definitely see how to others it looks like vulnerability but to me a better word for it would be humanity. They wrote him with a lot of humanity and complexity but to me vulnerability is not putting on airs and he did do that quite a lot, that is until he was redeemed by his love for Buffy.
