Im sorry, but the art so far in buffy season 8 isnt too great, there are some moments where the characters look like each other, mostly in close up shots, but over all, no one really looks like themselves. The only artist who can draw buffy to look like sarah is Cliff Richards. The guy knows how to draw the characters, he did a bunch of the old buffy comics, where did he go? I know he only did one issue so far of season 8... plese come back Cliff!!

Personally, I love Georges art. I think his art is fresh and new, and awesome. In fact, I'm actually begging for him to come back and draw the Fray arc. I don't like Karl Molin's bug-eyed people. They looked demented. Granted, he can draw Fray better than anyone, but everyone else seems a little too cartoon-y.

As for Georges drawings not looking like Sarah, that was one of Joss' rules when he choose Georges to be the lead artist for S8. He wanted Georges to draw BUFFY, not SARAH. The same goes for all the characters. He's not drawing the actors.

Cliff Richards does do very good likenesses. He's a little bland and conventional would be my only complaint.

I've grown to really like Georges' style. I totally associate it with Buffy now. I just wish it were a little more consistent with details, proportions. But it's distinctive.

Gotta admit I'm disappointed with Karl Moline, and I love the art in Fray. I think the inker and colorist are bringing it down somewhat too.

I'm anxious to see who Jeph Loeb is working with, cos I'm a total fan of that retro cartoony Buffy Animated style. Hope it's like that. Reminds me of Darwyn Cooke's stuff.

Wonder if Georges will be around for Season 9.
