Collaborations

I wanted to make this thread to ask a question and be a little selfish xD

a) Is anyone willing to collaborate with me on a new series I'm writing? (we'd work on the plot together and go as far as doing ep by ep in script format if the others wanted.)

b) Have any of you FF writers ever done a collab? With what? How? Explain!

I was going to do one with an online friend, but she (in a way) disappeared as we were settling down to write it. 🙁 I was looking forward to doing it because it meant if I got writers block, I would have someone to yell at me and give me ideas!

Anywho, got any ideas for the plot?

I've co-written a fic just the once and it was an interesting experience. I found it difficult to continue from where the other author left off, though, because I'm used to writing alone.

I also found that because we both had very distinctive writing styles, it was easy to tell where the fic changed hands.

Successful fic collaborations can be done though. One of my favourites is 'Fixing the Factors' which I think is by three different authors.
