Has anyone else seen this movie yet? Damn, it was great! Mrs. D and I went on a date :love10: and saw it last night. Tom Cruise is just awesome as the big bad...Michael Mann is not known for his complex plots, but even though it's pretty straightforward, he does a masterful job of keeping the watchers interested. Oscar? Possible, I think! How 'bout you?

I'd not even heard of this film 'til now 🙂 - probably won't be released for ages in the UK. I'll certainly watch out for it now it comes with the Dwarfly Seal of Approval. Tom Cruise/Michael Mann combination does sound like a winner - I must away to IMDb 😉

I saw it two days in a row; it was that good! I'd been wanting to see it for weeks. It's one of the best thrillers I've ever seen. I think Tom should get an Oscar nomination.

Oh, yeah. Mr. P, Cruise plays a tao-quoting bad guy with no discernable conscience...he's so good, he's unconscious! "Chilling" comes to mind...Definitely Oscar-worthy, as slayerpower said!

I just saw it and dang that was good! I agree that Tom Cruise should get if not an Oscar nom, a Golden Globe. He was simply brilliant in it.

Not to mention Jamie Foxx who had some supreme sublte greatness.

I also really like Jada Pinket and Mark Ruffalo. I thought they were surprisingly good.

And Jaimie Foxx's mother, of course. She was excellent! 😉
