Collectormania: Worth it?

My parents and I were looking on the Milton Keynes Collectormania site, and my Mum said if any of the Buffy/Angel cast are attending, I can go to the one in September. So, advice from anyone who's been, is it worth going? Also, what is there to do other than just getting autographs and stuff? Any help will be appreciated and will probably help me sway my parents to letting me go. So, please, help 😀 😛

I havent been but done a lot of research because Ive considered it quite alot. Apart from signing theirs loads of shops selling collectables from allsorts of shows. I wouldnt recommend going unless you have tons of money and like a load of tv shows.

Also they only seem to have like 1 or 2 Buffy/Angel characters at a show, I wouldnt Reccomend going just for Buffy Characters!

ive been a few times
and i think its definitly worth going to!
apart from the autographs they have talks with guests, cosplay fancy dress, a massive selection of stalls to browse through, some great models/cars from films and tv to take a look at...and not to mention the photo sessions too =)

its great fun! i would say its definitly worth going if theres someone u wanna meet! if u want a garunteed meeting...i would book a photo session ticket with the person u want online previous to the event..
therefore...if the autograph que ends up being too long and u cant stick around for whatever reason u wont be disappointed...u will still get to meet your faves and have a nice proffessional picture with them!

ive been to the milton keynes one a few times and the manchester ones too. they are always good fun! and if your staying for a weekend they have started to provide parties on saturday nights and maybe some entertainment like a small gig etc...
well worth it!

im going to the sep one myself this yr, if any buffy/angel guests are in attendance...which is more than likely 😀

They are good days , I have been to a few across the country and I would definately recommend that you go . The only point I would make is be prepared to be disappointed , as it is a time honoured tradition that some guests pull out at the last minute.

and be prepared to do some queing, though usually for the bigger guests i.e James Marsters.

I have been to many conventions, and they are good fun. I have met some buffy members too but I get really nervous and as I am sooo shy never know what to say!
