Yeah the whole "Students have easy lives" thing gets me angry, and im not even at uni yet.

It's like, how about you try earning about £4 an hour, working weekends, going to school/college/uni during the week, having this homework and try socialising. Grr.

You find that those that claim that students have easy lives tend to be those that didn't go to uni or college. Not all the time but in most cases I found.

Faith : The only financial help I got was student loans which I have to pay back (and I don't even want to know how much I owe), and through my entire university career I had a part time job, even working 7 days a week during the summer with 2 jobs.

Sounds like students' life is really difficult for most of ppl. I wish you guys could all have what we got in here, free school & grants to help us.
I know I am very lucky coz the grant I get enable me to pay for the boarding school & most of my journeys with the train. I just need to work from time to time to pay for the books.
But it's not a reason not to work hard actually, coz if we were to do a same class again we wouldn't have the grant anymore.
& about college, that's very hard, & I don't count the hours of work but that's also so interesting, I think that's the best occasion we have in our life to learn things, coz later, with a full-time job, we will have les time.
