Me and a friend (who I recently helped convert into a full-on raving Buffy/Whedon-obsessed fangirl) are planning to go. Yep, we plan early and we plan big! If you're heading there, drop a note here, maybe we can meet up somewhere and grab a sammich and talk Buffy. 🙂

Hope you have fun. There's a ton of great stuff to see and do there, and enough merchendise to satisfy any collector, fan, or just plain fanatic. And don't forget your camera. I was at one where the guy who played Darth Maul in SW1 did a really great weapons demonstration, and I had left mine at home.

We made the reservations Friday night and by then, probably about 1/3rd of all the affordable rooms within a mile of the convention center were booked. Still, we got a really nice suite facing the bay, and it's served by several shuttles, so we're happy. But I've read in a couple of fan forums for other shows about people already booking and buying up the admittance badges, even now, so I guess we're in step with the early birds.

And I've had so many nightmares about being on vacations and having forgot my camera, that I will definitely make sure I have my camera glued to me at all times. lol
