I'm having trouble sleeping so I'ma do the Comic Relief post.

Every 2 years Comic Relief gives a night of wonderful TV.
A classic clip involving The Doctor/David Tennant:-

A Doctor Who special - incidentally, this was written by the next showrunner, Steven Moffat

This years seems to be shaping up to be great. what with the great single (you chould definitely buy it!) 'Barry Islands in the Stream' by Bryn and Nessa (of Gavin and Stacey).

On top of that, following the Doctor Who theme, David Tennant is apparently hosting part of the night AND there will be a special Sarah Jane Adventures mini episode with Ronnie Corbett.

I have already done my bit for Comic Relief this year and lest we forget what I did two years ago that raised money for it, so not it is your turn.

I just watched the one with David recently...soo funny!

haha, those are brilliant! thanks!
I want one of those shirts Stella Mccartney designed! I'm not sure which one yet, but I think I like the Beatles one most 😉

That will be my bit for Comic Relief, if I manage to get my hands on one, that is, since I don't live in the UK and there's not much I can do. I wish they did something like Red Nose day over here. It's such a good thing to raise awareness and things like that!

Yay, Comic Relief. I want one of those t-shirts, too - probably the Beatles one.

I've been watching Let's Dance for Comic Relief for the past few weeks - anyone caught it? If not, the two best dances from the show were performed by comedians Robert Webb, and Paddy & Keith. Rob Webb did Flashdance, and Paddy & Keith did Dirty Dancing. They're hilarious, some clips...

I'm interested in seeing the celebs climb of kilimanjaro, and I've seen some clips of French & Saunders taking off Mamma Mia, which looks great XD

That Katherin Tate sketch was hilarious!

"Is this double English or double Scottish?"

LMAO

Ooooh cool. 😀 I love watching the Comic Relief show and I usually find something to do for comic relief, but I've really got no ideas this year. In Primary School, they had tonnes of ways to raise money but in secondary school no-one bothers. It bites, I want to do something to help raise money.
I loved that Catherine Tate/David Tennant Sketch. Always cracks me up XD

Amist I bovver-red, forsooth?
I always watch comic relief becuase it's like something you have to do. Sadly I don't normally enjoy most of the sketches they always seem like you have to laugh which is so forced. But I think the more serious aspect's are brilliantly done.

I love that David Tennant clip..."Bite me Alien Boy!!" lmao!!

I'm so looking forward to friday 😀 This year i'm taking part in my schools fund raiser this year...we're gonna break the world record for the biggest game of dodgeball ever 😀 I hate dodgeball but i hope it'll be fun :lol2:

Sooo looking forward to watching the show on BBC1 too!! :bounce:

Ahh! I'm doing it too!! I'm so gonna hit you! Muahaha!!
Is that Johnathan Pryce?!?!

I loved Curse of the Fatal Death. Possibly because I always sort of hated Doctor Who though.

Edmund Blackadder
Yes its JP - but how can you love Curse because you gate DW - its an homage written by one if its biggest fan?
For those who are interested...you can get a digital red nose for your facebook, myspace or bebo pics...it only costs a quid, the same as the real red noses. I don't know for certain but it looks like non-UKers can do this as well...go on...all the cool kids are doing it 🙂

Digital Red Nose 2009

£57.8 million raised so far that is estimated to raise to £80 million by the end of the Comic Relief run.
Just for the Americans that is $80,752,380 estimated to raise to $111,768,000

I really enjoyed the various things they had going. Plus, the text in £5 was made so easy....that was a brilliant idea.

I also was quite amazed at Tennants knowledge of Dr. Who. I mean, i know the guy plays the part, and i would expect him to have a decent knowledge of the character, but wow, he almost resembled a Dr Who geek... awesome!

I think the texting is the reason the money jumped 17.5 million.
Normally there is a jump of a few million.

David Tennant IS a Who geek. He's often quoted as saying he's been a fan since childhood and he ALWAYS has known his stuff.

I loved the Mamma Mia stuff to be honest.

For those who haven't seen it - Mamma Mia by Comic Relief

Part 1

Have to agree with EB, French and Saunders were just awesome!! I loved the end they're like, "Aren't we meant to be retired??" lol!! Favourite part of the show 🙂

Mamma Mia was the best part of the line up. 😛 'Chicken Ticka, tell me what's wrong' :lmao:

I got so jealous of Davina when she got to make out with David. 😉

Oh, did anyone watch the climb of Killimanjaro, on I think it was Thursday? Chris Moyles was hilarious. I can't believe they all climbed it and raised over £3,000,000 for Comic Relief just by climbing a mountain. A very high, horrible mountain. Go them. 😀

I must say i was forced to watch most of it by my mother 😉 and i did enjoy some bits of it. Not as forced as some years and i did enjoy French and Saunders, and the England footballers sketch.

The England team talk sketch was simply brilliant. So funny watching them trying to keep straight faces - Beckham failed miserably!

I thought most of it was pretty good this year. Noel Fielding on the Top of the Pops bit was simply excellent 🙂
