I've been re-watching the 6 seasons of "Highlander" that I got for Christmas, and it reminds me of one of my real peeves with Mr Whedon. At the end of each and every season of "Highlander," there is a full disc of interviews of the actors, writers, directors, producers, stunt coordinators, just about everyone involved with the creation of that season except the caterers, plus tons of bloopers and deleted scenes. Then, there's a CD-ROM containing all of the scripts and even some shooting notes.
Why the heck couldn't Joss have thought enough of his fans to afford us that kind of thing? It's not as though the bloopers and deleted scenes have been lost, because they're still to this day floating around on the internet on sites like YouTube and literally hundreds of fan sites. Aside from commentary on some of the episodes, we get nothing extra. It just makes me feel as though Buffy fans have been slighted.
