Computer help need with my mouse

I have a Logitech MX300 Optical mouse, and yesterday the left (select) button stopped working. Everything else seems to work fine - if I make the third button have the "click/select" function, then that stops working as well. I've updated the drivers, and uninstalled and reinstalled, but still nothing works. Any ideas? 🙂

Try the simple things, that seem to have little to nothing to do with this. Maybe accesibility settings? It's usually something stupid like that in XP

hm......try buying a new mouse...lmao I couldn't help you, I have no idea. Usually this happens to me and I only accomplish in completely destroying things.....

power the computer down completly than disconnect and reconecting the mouse, power up again, hopefully this will work if not than you have to look at the device manager to see what might be happening.

lol...should've got the old ball mouse...at least when it breaks down...you got a cool little ball...lol...my friends use to take hte mouse ball from all the school comps...lol...*******s...

Well, you have a point about the ball there, but then, most ppl still have a stash of them from their high school days.

These days Dutch high schools only ever get optical mouses because of this.
