Glory liked pretty things.
Well we all knew that but she made it seem like it was crucial to the ritual that Dawn wore that outfit?
She did make it seem that way, but I highly doubt it was crucial, all it took after all was blood. It is most likely was just a symbolic part of the ritual. Also, before they knew that Dawn was human, Glory expected that it might be any object, but also this might have been completely false. It is possibly that the key had to be transformed into human, it might not have been possible to transform it into a bike or something, we just don't know that for sure.
I think I agree with this. We know that the Monks tried hard to keep the Key from Glory, so it would make sense that they kept the idea and the workings of it from her as well. Glory was expecting a Key, she didn't think about it much more than that. It could be that the Key always must have been made human for the ritual to work, Glory just didn't know that.
The clothing, however, might have just been Glory messing about, making fun of the whole thing. She didn't care about anything but getting what she wanted, as soon as she found out about the Key being human, the 'ritual' clothing might have just been Glory's way of showing everyone she was better than them and she was getting what she wanted.

This is pretty much it in a nutshell. Glory has never been 'sane', at least by our standards, so this is pretty much her making fun of the entire situation. Dawn's blood is what was important to the ritual, not her clothing.
