I was just thinking about the rumours of Spike being a male vampire slayer but then came upon the notion that Connor is the equivalent of a male vampire slayer. I mean, it's true right? He is human for one, but has the strength and skill of a vampire, just like a vampire slayer.

That's a fairly good point, but they did allude to their being demon blood in him, when they put the spell they'd used for Caritas in the hotel, and he could not attack Angelus.

obviously he is an empowered being, but I dont' think he's a male slayer. For instance, he is much weaker than Faith, and I don't want there to ever be a male slayer. Connor is fine the way he is. I hope to see him come back in season 5

I think don't Conner is a vampire slayer. Since now he has a human family, he probably doesn't know how to fight, but I do want see him in S5.

Yeah, they never really did finish that story line. We never really found out what exactly Connor is, did we?

Why would it matter if Connor is a vampire slayer, he isnt going to be on the show anymore, and that is a very good thing. The idea that anyone on that show could be a vampire slayer is just wierd...none of them fit as a good slayer, i like the way it is, the vampire, the demon, the rogue demon hunter, the coma patient, the geek, and the ghetto hottie!!!

Just posting to say that I didn't say that Connor was a male Vampire Slayer, just that he could be the equivalent of one, ie: he has the sames strengths and skills as a Slayer.

If you dont find it interesting Terry then dont post.

I wouldn't have called him a male slayer, he does have certain 'powers' due to his parentage.

Moving thread to a more appropriate forum.

i dont think that he has the same strenght as a slayer..he is just not normal, cause of his parents i think

Not necessarily the same stregnth...Faith did wipe the floor with him!

Thats just cause Faith rules! mwahah. I still wanna know what conner was, do you think they'll answer it ever in Angel?

I'm sure we'll hear a bit more about him. I have to agree with what someone said earlier about not ever wanting a male slayer. The whole reason Buffy was started was for the female empowerment wasn't it? I thought I read that Joss said that. Anyway, I think it should stay a chick thing.

Unfortunately, considering Season 4's finale, I doubt they will be going much further into detail with Connor's character, though i think it could've been explored in a much better way to begin with...

Well, they said where he comes from---Connor was the life that Angel won when he was attempting to fight for Darla's...they didn't explain what he was though, as in one ep of the fourth season, he can't attack Angelus thanks to a spell in the hotel that did not allow DEMON violence---I would've liked to have seen the reason's behind THAT explained...
