Alright, I know I should give the guy a break, growing up in a hell-dimension and all, and believe me, I tried. I was really excited about this character, so I attempted to like him, and waited for him to improve. But I ended up hating Conor for every minute of his existence in the show anyway.

Conor is such a tool! Holtz, evil-Cordelia, Jasmine when he saw her true face, everyone just uses him. Even when Darla begged him not to listen to clearly evil Cordelia, Conor ignored her and nearly doomed the world. Everyone tries to give him a chance, but he's too self-centered to notice.

And he's always feelings sorry for himself! Hello, what about your dad? He's always being tortured: Holtz, Drusilla, being sent to Hell by his true love, having a soul after doing horrible things for a hundred years.

Conor had a horrible child-hood, given, but I think that he is one of the weakest main characters ever in both shows. He showed no change-of-heart or acceptance, not even at the end. Angel had to deal with him by pretending his son never existed. I was happy at this, but then I looked back and realized that they producers had wasted a whole season on that stupid kid, so I wish he literally was not put in the show ever.

Sorry Conor-fans! Needed to get that hate out of my system!

I'm not a fan of Connor either...I thought Dawn would be the worst until I watched Connor...but he didn't annoy me in season 5 but I agree they wasted a lot of episodes based around him

I'm with you, not a big Conner fan as well. Whole reason season 4 was ruined in my opinion.

He gets enjoyable in the comics (I've only read issue 1-27). But that's after Angel "fixes" him, so I have a hard time feeling that's the "real" Connor anyway. But he's remembering his "original" self, so I guess that doesn't matter that much anymore.

I do feel that's he a complex character, but the entire Season 4, I wanted him to die. I couldn't even feel sorry for him, which I felt I should. He was too annoying.

Half karma for liking comics' Connor.
Ag! I hate him, too. He was actually alright and an interesting plot device in S5 of Angel, but season 4? ...it makes me sad for life. I thought there'd be hope for him when he and Angel were sparring at the end of season 3. I thought it was absolutely adorable and if they'd continued on a good track, and could see him working out. The actor is adorable. Shame about the character.

I liked the direction they were taking with him at the end of season 3 and the first 2-3 episodes of season 4. It was when he fell incredulously in love with Cordelia that he got annoying and way too over-the-top. He just ends up being everybody's butt monkey. He never got a chance to stand on his own as a character. And he was way more angsty than s5-6 Dawn. I understand his hate for Angel because he thought Angel A) was a maniacal demon and B) killed the only father he ever knew. I wish they could have built more on that and the distrust both Connor and Angel had for each other at that point. The Jasmine storyline, starting in Apocalypse Nowish wasn't done well at all, and that's why season 4 is on most people "least favorite season of the whole buffyverse" list. And it just ruined Connor's character. The best part of the season for connor was the "Angelus" part, because he got to get away from Cordelia a lot, and he got to grow a little on his own. The best thing to happen to him was his reset in "Home".

I completely agree what character hasnt suffered on these shows? It is like Connor acted like he was the only one that went to another dimension, hello Fred?
I like Connor overall considering they improved him quite a bit in season 5. It is just they spent much time having him complain. Dawn to me was never the way he was, sometimes I thought he was so unappreciative.
But like I said him finally being there and excepting in season 5 made me love him and those moments and some when he was being nice in season 3 the rest were a little to drawn out at times. I will say I like conner's interaction with Faith though.

Have you seen Season Five yet? If not, then I'll just say he's 100% better 🙂

S3/4? I want to repeatedly smash Connor's head into a brick wall.
S5? I want to hug him 😀

I like Connor, but season 4 is his worst season because the Cordy/Connor thing ruined both characters and the season. In season 3 & 5 I thought he was really cool because he fights in cool ways and he gets nicer. Basically, I really like Connor alot because ghe's hot and cool but I HATE season 4.

My dream crossover ep was one where Connor and Dawn were put in a room together and gassed!! They really ruined a lot of eps! I hate them both lol

I was getting ready to comment on Connor but then it hit me...I haven't finished AtS yet and I shouldn't be quick to judge yet as i've only gone halfway through season 4. So I shall come back, though I'm pretty sure I'll hate Connor lol
