Conspiracy Theories.

OK, time to come clean. I enjoy a good conspiracy theory.

Here's a few of my favourites, I've picked up here and there, on my internet travels. A couple of them I actually believe.



* The Americans know where Osama Bin Laden is. They're waiting for Bush to call the next election before they bring him in.

* The Music Industry isn't really losing money from internet downloading. They're worried if filesharing is allowed to increase, Independent labels will gain power, and the musicians will actually get their fair slice of the pie.

* Martha Stewart was innocent. She's a sacrificial lamb. Oprah's next.

* The RIAA is after the Jackson's, because they won't play ball on the filesharing question. They're doing a Martha to Michael, and they sabotaged Janet's super-bowl costume.

* Trivia game shows are fixed. They feed questions to the expertise of the person they want to win.

* The Neilsen Ratings mean nothing. It's a scam the networks run to allow people to believe they have some kind of say in programming.

* The decision to cancel Angel was not about business. It was a power play move to teach other programs to fall in line with new CEO Jordan Levin's movement to keep the viewing public brainless.

Heres another Angel related one I just thought of (so not really a conspiracy theory but hey)

The WB dont plan to cancel Angel, they just want to drum up publicity for it. (Its working if they do anywho)

I think this is quite true..... Cancel shows like Angel and add more reality TV, yep this one's gotta be true...

Actually, I personally have to take the blame for that particular conspiracy theory.

It's a little more complicated, and I like to think makes a little more sense, when you look at it in detail.

LMAO! Great theories...I'm with ya on the Angel one. EJ and I were just talking about how most of these shows are so brainless with their repeated plots. It's like people are more comfortable with some of these shows because they always know what's going to happen and they don't provoke any REAL thought. Shows like Buffy and Angel are always surprising you and pushing the limits. They make you think and make you react. DOWN WITH CONFORMITY! Sorry...I'm going now...thanks for sharing Nerd4hire!
 
My AP US History teacher is convinced that Ronald Reagan has been dead... They're just waiting until October Surprise to tell us... LOL. Actually, I believe her.
 
And here's my favorite one:

We really didn't go to the moon. It was all a hoax.

stupid consipracies. I do not believe in them, but the Jordan Levin one sounds interesting.
