Contraceptive pill question

I was crapping myself when my doctor told me I was coming off the pill. I thought the side affects of going back to normal would be really bad. Luckily its been ok so far, apart from my spots have flared up in a few places on my face, chest and back. I've suffered with it for almost 10 years now. I'm hoping when I go back to the doctor he may put me on another brand of the pill.

brinkster130 agrees: PPH can help you out with free or affordable pill options, also if you're in college most school provide low cost pills for students w/o insurance.

I know for a fact that my college does not offer this plan. I've checked into it a few times, and I've been to PPH, but I don't know how long they're going to be around anymore... I hate that the government is sticking it's nose into programs that HELP WOMEN more than anything, and telling them, essentially, you're wrong, and we're pulling your funding. But that's off topic, so yeah.

I was only on one type of birth control, but due to the fact that my periods are always really heavy, and the pain is incredibly intense, I'd like to have the every three month pill.
