Okay, so... I've seen all the shows countless times, but never in the same order, and as I'm watching them all the way through, knowing what could happen, and looking at other things, I'm noticing so many discrepancies and things... mind you I've watched every episode of Angel... so some things im not sure where i learned them from.. but... Darla dies in the first season episode 7, yes? Well, im only on episode 2 of the 2nd season now, so i won't find out for decades, but how the f does darla come back? i mean... wtf? im effing baffled cause i see her all the time later i cant remember how she reappeared... there are other things i've noticed, like how angel looks baby like now and later not but gee thats age, and how everyone is so friggin incapable of fighting end then later friggin badass, like bufy, i understand that, she went thru her thing with the master and came out stronger but angel? hes supposedly been such a badass? how come hes such a lil b*tch.... bugs me, like.... argghhh sorry dude watchin it now, non stop and buggin me..

Darla's return: You'll have to watch to find out... I'd recommend the last episode of Season 1 if you want to find out.

Angel ageing: There wasn't much they could really do about him ageing, I guess it was natural. But if you want a 'reason', it has been fanwanked that vampires with souls age due to carrying the burden of a soul and knowing what they have done.

Fighting improvements: Buffy's fighting improved due to training and learning. Angel... Well he had his own show, so he had to be able to kick arse... also it has been fanwanked that once he started fighting his own fight for redemption he managed to find more passion for the fight inside him. (Kinda like how once Spike got a soul he began to see less thrill of the fight which made him an inferior fighter)

yeah, i figured all of that, but how do you think me watching the last episode of season 1 is going to explain darla? i literally just watched that episode....

Was it the last episode of Season 1 of Angel?

You wanna know how Darla comes back?

Well, here is it:

Wolfram and Hart brings her back as a human, to taunt Angel.

I'm fairly certain that the first responder here meant to suggest you watch the last episode of season one of ANGEL:To Shanshu in L.A.

Probably one of the best Angel episodes!

I wondered the same thing about Angel...Angelus was suppose to be such a bad-ass, someone who could kill with no trouble and one of the worlds most deadly and violent Vampires yet he often got kicked around a bit while he was fighting. I think is just has to do with having a soul. He now knows what violence can do and what it feels like so he isn't as brutal as he can be. I've noticed on both BTVS and Angel when something happens to really upset him his old bad-ass self comes out and he kicks major ass. (I love bad-ass Angel!)

This is a small annoyance I've always had. In Welcome to the Hellmouth, Buffy jumps over the fence at the school. How come she never has super jump after that?

I know right!

She does super jump on occasion, such as in Earshot and Sanctuary, but like all powers in the Buffyverse it's probably not consistently handled. Like Buffy's strength. Sometimes she can lift a lot, sometime she can't.

Awesome banner :)
Speaking of super jump and AtS... I just watched season 5, and Angel did the craziest super jump ever in Your Welcome. Then Lindsey comes after him and super jumps too. But it's not like super jump like jumping over the fence... its for real like flying.

a lot of times, i guess they just dont need "super" super powers to defeat their enemies. It could take a lot of energy, and it might not be nessasary. Of course, there's always the stunt double issue 😛
