I know Seacaucus pretty well, so here is a brief description, Seacucus is swamp land central, there isnt that much left of it but if you go around the block from the convention center you can see a nice bit of it that remains undeveloped. As far as the town there really isnt much to do, there is a movie theater within walking distance, a pathetic excuse for a mall and a 24 hour home depot. I think they just opened up a bazookas or something around there. The town is dead, but you can take a bus to NYC or Hoboken from there. I was told by my grand father that Seacaucus was also filled with pig farmers, many many years ago until they decided to develop it. Oh and the famous outlets are there as well, they are a major draw as they are top brand stores (designer labels and stuff) but in huge warehouses and the prices are well below market, a lot of New Yorkers come over just to shop there. I do believe there is a 6% sales tax but I am not sure.

p.s. I sound like I should be running a tour. 😉

Yay!!

You'd think NY would have more conventions. It's really a shame. But thank god for this one, perhaps I'll be able to make it...

I'll be there on Saturday! 🙂 Yay for my first convention ever!!

Hey This Year's Girl - I'm thinking about going on Saturday as well... I'm not sure yet because I have a wedding the next day. Just my luck, but I would absolutely love to meet Nicholas Brendon, and he'll only be there Saturday.

It'll be my first convention ever too, and it's a shame I'll only be there for the one day. I'll take what I can get.

Maybe I'll see you there!
