Just thought I'd share... this weekend i went to a convention here in Australia called Supanova, we only have about 2 public expos and the rest are rather private, expensive panel type things... and i love going to the Sydney one.

This year Summer, Charisma, Mark, Dichen and Eliza were going and because of the high volume of Whedon stars they bought out a Whedonverse ticket, it was pricey but the benefits were worth it...

2 Signatures of my choice on Personal objects or prints
No Queuing in anything concerning Whedon stars
First 3 seats reserved in Whedon talks
Access to Whedon panels.

All for 400 bucks... and considering photos separately were 40-50 i was well impressed!

And just so it doesn't sound like i'm gloating hehe... tell us your experiences with meeting the stars of your favorite shows if you've been to cons before.
 
I'm going to the Perth Supanova on the weekend! It's my first convention so I'm feeling a little nervous about it all. I didn't hear anything about the special whedon ticket though! I'm mad broke at the moment, and don't get paid till the monday afterwards, so I'm going to be doing on the cheap as much as possible. I think I'm going to narrow down my pictures to Eliza and Charisma.

Does anyone else think they're asking to much for photos? I mean it's not like you're having a photoshoot with them, or having a chat. It seems a little unreasonable. Especially for characters like Groo...
 
Heya! you're in for a treat! Eliza was so nice! as were all of them. But for a general ticket holder... here in Sydney on the Saturday the line grew to over 200 for a photo with Eliza and that was just one session... so if your getting an eliza photo i suggest you get in line as soon as one forms lol.

Eliza was asking for 50 which i didn't mind, it was a spur of the moment for me on the last day, thought 'what the hell' and went for it, don't think she'd be back in oz anytime soon.

If you go see Mark's talk you should ask him about his Fake death prank... it's hilarious!

Dichen is SO ugly, but the rest of them look great! 🙂

I'M MEETING ELIZA AND THE REST OF THE GANG TOMORROW!

Okay, so I'm a little excited, but of course as my luck would have it I fell up my stairs on Tuesday night so now have a bruised face! Bahaha! At least I'll look like I've gone a round of chick fight with Eliza which is a little bit cool.

Hopefully the rest of the convention people don't piss me off to much though.
 
OK question. Which girls are prettier in real life then they are on TV? Which are worse?


I know its a very male question to ask but please... inquiring minds want to know.

I didn't end up bothering for the Eliza photo in the end. I decided that since I've never been a massive Faith fan that my time and money were better spent with Charisma, and I'm glad I made that decision because I LOVE HER. She was witty, and cute, and awesome. Not to mention slamming hot. I didn't end up getting a photo with her, but I did get her to sign a photo for me with - "To Cait, it's like we're sisters, but with really different hair! Charisma"
We had a chat about how she's finding Australia, and her confusion over the tipping system in Aus. We also had a chat about some of her quotes and stuff. She was great. One of my highlights had to be Charisma saying that she thought the Connor Cordelia coupling icked her out, and that most of the season 4 storyline was really bad!

I'm on a complete adrenaline high right now!!!
 
Aw lucky you, it's nice talking to them about the show, but most times they forget a lot of stuff. 😛

aw that's so awesome! and that photo signing is so cute 😀 She seems like such a great person.
 
Oh, and I think Charisma was the prettiest in real life, much more real then I was expecting. Eliza was stunning as well, but Summer wasn't as knock out hot as I was expecting. Still prettier then me - but not as jaw droppingly hot as Charisma.
 
Awesome pictures Evo! I'm surprised to see Charisma doesn't look much different at all with the time that has passed.
