Hi everyone, I've been a Buffy fan since the beginning but only just finished watching Angel and was interested to see how fans compared them so came here to find out :newbie:

I actually liked Angel better than Buffy.. Angel seemed darker and at it's best, noir. I think 'outting' demons allowed them to take themes further than Buffy did. Buffy was about right & wrong, whereas Angel was about the gray world in which we live.

If you wait for a while the thread you posted in will get a visit from The Sorting Tome and it will use its magical powers to determine which house your sorted into.

(re Angel vs Buffy love - I love Angel almost as much as I love Buffy, but overall Buffy wins by a smidge, although Angel season five in my favourite individual season.)
