Help Coppermine Gallery

I need some help and I couldn't find a thread about this anywhere in this section so I thought I'd just open one up.

Basically myself and a friend have our own forum and blog dedicated to our favourite band. The thing is though we are desperately trying to figure out how to use coppermine gallery as a decent host for a gallery. The tutorials look so long and lengthy its unreal. So I thought I'd ask anyone on here who may use Coppermine for any tips on how the whole system works?

It would be greatly appreciated if we did get some help even if its just tips and hints.

Thank you Buffy I shall have a look at it and see if its any easier to follow. That application seems like a such a pain in the butt to get your head around its crazy.

I built a gallery with Photoplog recently and that seemed pretty easy. *shrugs*

Thank you again Buffy Im going to look in to this properly tomorrow and so is my friend, it looks a lot more straight forward than Coppermine Gallery.
