Cordelia&Doyle

Cordy did like him, but it was like her and Xander all over again...

I loved them together! They were so cute! (This is an evil thought, but if they'd stay together, maybe there would be no Cangel...)

yeah...but htey would be so cute together!! It's so sad that he died, everytime i see Doyle i wish it was possible that he could come back and guest star....

Well look at us. In the middle of season five and we're still talking about 'em. Very memorable, wasn't it?

Doyle was a great character, and there was a real fondness between the two. They also had really good chemistry on-screen!

*sniff* I miss Doyle! *sob* I wish they could've got together! They would've been so good together...

Doyle... My Hero.... *reaches for the kleanex*

They indeed did pretty well together, but so did Wes and Cordy in s3.

I think the main difference between Cordy/Doyle and Cordy/Wes was the closness. There was no denying the atraction between Cordy and Wes, but there was an awkwardness that was shown in the kiss they shared. When Doyle and Cordy kissed there was nothing awkward about it, it was sweet. That's why I think the Cordy/Doyle relationship could have worked.

Allright the way I see it. Cordelia wasn't good enough for Doyle. Alan Francis Doyle was waay out of her league. Emotionally and intellectually.

Hmm. . .I don't really believe this. If it was Season One-Early Two of Buffy Cordy, then I'd probably agree, but after she dated Xander, and when she went off to find her inevitable super-stardom in L.A., Cordelia became a different person. She saw how she treated people -- and come on, there are always the classic "Cordelia's" in high-school, and I'm sure most of them turn out to change. . .I think that one of the reasons Cordelia and Doyle would've been so perfect for one another was because of the fact when she was with Doyle, her shady Queen C past started to dissapear. . .and she became a girl she wanted to be; a nice one who had compassion for her friends. It was a good quality to see brought out in her, and because Cordy and Doyle were from such different worlds, I thought it would've been interesting to explore. I'm really sad Doyle died [even sadder Glenn Quinn died because I coulda seen Joss doing something with Doyle in the future]; and I wish we would've gotten to seen the relationship progress alittle further. But, I guess that was the whole point in it. Joss generally doesn't want to give us happy endings where romances are concerned on "Buffy" and "Angel". :mad39: It's soo annoying, lol.

As for Cordelia and Wesley. . . throughout Angel, they sorta had a brother and sister relationship IMO throughout the early seasons of Angel [and when she was brought back in Season Five] I don't think it could've gone further, and I really like that it didn't -- :winking15

I liked the possibility of them being together. Doyle liked her and I think Queen C's feelings were just emerging surface. Too bad they killed Doyle off too soon. If not, I am sure that Cangel (Cordy & Angel) ship would not have to be invented.

They where defenitely very good together, but I don't think I would like to change his death or anything to see more with them together.. One really good thing about both BtVS and Ats is that there is a lot of releationships that never are completely explored, wich is very interesting because it's leaves more to the imagination so you can think about what could have been and have more to discuss on boards like this..
