Cordelia/Harmony

A mystery woman appears on the cover of #4 or 5 and many are speculating that she is Cordy or Harmony (her picture is sort of vague and misty so you can't tell who she is). There is a link to it in the spiolers thread.

ok i have looked and looked for this mystery woman on both 4 and 5 and I dont see her.... i mean do you have a link to the picture of the cover or something?

Check out this page in the spoiler thread. I'm still clueless though.:drunk:

Honestly in my opinion i think its either Darla or Kate... I dont think its harmony..... and i HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY Doubt that it is Cordelia.... and if it is i honestly think its stupid to bring her back they ended her story perfectly... it should stay ended...

Yes on the Cordelia thing. I don't want her to come back. They would only ruin her.

Cordy's story ended?
When?
I'm assuming you're talking about Ep 5.12, 100, "You're Welcome", where she dies. Where her body dies.
There are a few things you need to take into account, though, about that episode-

1. At the begining, before the intro, right after Angel says he quits W&H, the camera zooms up, city pans, goes to Cordelia. Take note, though, of the zooming up from Angel- exactly like how she viewed the world when she was a higher being.
2. At the end of the episode she's talking to Angel in his office, right after the whole group leaves to go drinking, but she says "knows" that Angel will triumph over Wolfram & Hart. I understand the manner in which they were speaking, but she even said that Angel was the guy she "fell" in love with, all sorts of past tense things. Nothing much, but it's there.
3. She says, very interestingly, "I'll be seeing you." This, after everything else, right at the end- I think she was telling Angel she isn't gone, but he was being his usual dense self.

I believe that she is now the "higher being" she wasn't before- actually with the PTB. Her story, I'm sure, still has a number of miles left in it.

would be great, Cordy rocks!

I agree 100%, and even if it's wrong, it's a nice thought..
Im with Thegifthing 😀 Cordy history dosnt END!! she is one of the Powers now and maybe she could bring back as a herald of the powers that be! 😀 that could be awesome ( I cant stop thinking on Cordy dressed like the "seer" when she appearance on Charmed, imagine that look on Angel series of Cordy as one of the Powers that Be, AWESOME!!!)

This is pretty much what i have been thinking about Cordy ever since i saw "You're Welcome" for the first time. I always thought that the Powers would compensate her for what Jasmine did to her.

yeah it would be nice to have Cordy back...plus her death was kinda mystical and all so according to the hole buffyverse she can be brought back...we can only wait...but it would certainly be good because without his link to the ptb angel's kinda lost...

That's the thing- Angel has the visions; that's what lead him to kill the Circle of The Black Thorn members, and what leads me to question a lot of what's been happening so far in After The Fall. Wolfram & Hart keeps Angel alive and protected because he's the sole Black Thorn (my theory), but what of the visions? What's been happening with them all this time? Are the PTB incapable (ha!) of reaching him in the LA Hell, or have they forsaken him (ha!)? It's like a thousand things are being ignored.

Maybe since becoming human (whether temporarily, legit or not) he isn't getting the visions anymore? Maybe the change messed up the entire link. Plus we know that visions cause humans very painful problems so perhaps on a basic level not having mention of the visions yet is a narrative device so we're not hindering Angel too much.

As for Cordelia returning I completely agree with TheGifting. Cordelia's story is so not over. In fact has any character in the Whedeonverse ever had their story completely over? It's always left at a point where it could be picked up again, even if the character has died. Whether Joss chooses to though is another thing entirely...

And I always thought Cordelia's 'I'll be seeing you' comment in You're Welcome was very intriguing. I mean it's what Ethan always said to Giles and sure enough he kept turning up again. And then I thought maybe it was just wishful thinking on my part and it was just her way of saying goodbye without having to say the words. Still, let's keep hope alive. Haha.

I cant see anymore story for Joyce, Jenny or Tara

Doesn't have to be a 'oh they're back and living a life again thing'. Could be an extension of their story in the past, or use of their character to expand on characters still alive. I always wanted Jenny to be used more as regards to Giles. You know and not just as The First. Because personally? I always thought there was unresolved issues there.

Look, I'm just the ideas girl okay? Joss and co are the how people. Haha.

I just mean that in the Buffyverse no one ends up being full on gone. You think you're never gonna see them again and then bam, there they are. And with comics not being as limiting as TV as regards to actors etc, there is so much more opportunity. Particularly, as we have been saying, with Cordelia.

I would like to see something done with Doyle then 😛

Joyce Summers
Ditto. We *really* need to see more of him :D. He was SO killed off too soon. Hehe
i believe i read somewhere that Harmony is coming in After the Fall, around issue 6 or 8 if i remember correctly.
i also believe she is the mystery woman on that cover

And wow, i seem to be the only one here that hopes Cordy is gone for good

I hope not.
Harmony's lame. What the hell do we need to focus on some random, run of the mill vamp for?

from what i saw on the cover that's soooooooo has to be CORDY i mean just look at the hair and body figure if it were harmony i'm guessing she'd have longer hair. but cordy in you're welcome hair was shortish. maybe im just grasping at straws but i hope to the powers that be its cordy.

The woman looks like she has a vampire face though...

I really couldn't tell who it was. My guess is cordy, she has always had a big part in angel, the same way that Joyce has in buffy. It seems like the only person joss hasn't brought back has been Doyle, it would be really cool to see him back, even if it were like one small panel in an issue. Can't wait to find out who it is though.
