It's been a while since I have watched Angel, but i just started to watch it again. I went through Season 1 and it was great to see how Cordy developed through the season, and how near the end of the season she started to refer to Wes, Angel & herself as Family. She still had the kind of personality in where she takes a sarcastic stab at you or something, but it wasn't nearly as rude as it was when she was on Buffy. I guess you can also say it was an acceptance type of ordeal as well, because on Buffy whenever she walked into the room or said something, most of the time you would hear someone take a stab at her(mostly Xander, sometimes Buffy). But even from the get go on Angel she was treated so well by Angel. She was still her old self from Buffy, but Angel accepted that and bonded with her over the course of Season 1. It was funny how he would question her dates, and try to make sure she would be safe whenever she went out. Then whenever she was ever in trouble it seemed like he was in 100% serious mode and that he would do anything to save her.
Then we come to Season 2, i just finished watching the 3rd episode, so i am not too far into it. But Cordelia just keeps on growing as a person and keeps surprising me how serious she is about helping people. The way she took responsibility, when she had that vision about Gunn in trouble and tried to call Angel and Wes but no one answered. She went out on her own with a battle axe and said to herself "yeah i'm so gonna die" lol. The way she showed care for Gunn and would not even leave when he told her to so many times, and the willingness to die to help another soul amazes me when that's used in the same sentence as Cordy's name lol. Anyway i am looking forward to watching the rest of the season it seems to be really good so far. I am really liking the chemistry between Angel and Cordy, there personalities are so different, yet they seem to have the same mission in life to save people and help the helpless.
