Hey i heard that Cordelia was told by TPTB that her time on Earth was through and that she was to move onto another plane of existence or some such...can someone tell me whether or not she was signed for next season.

This i heard from whoever started the Tomorrow 3.22 (season finale) thread.

From there the storyline picks up momentum for the top-secret season finale, May 20. "We alter the emotional throughlines with Cordy and Groo," Bell teases. "The cliff-hanger involves Angel and Cordelia finally realizing their feelings for each other.

"there will be romance, there will be pain -- always lots of pain," Bell jokes. "It's all about finding the compassion, the emotion, the pain and the humor. Hopefully, at the moment you would least expect it."

One thing fans can expect is the entire cast returning next season. "All of our regulars will be back with, hopefully, the addition of a new character," Bell reveals. "There will be a new regular. I don't think it's in cement yet, or even wet, gooey mud. We are going to see how it plays out."

Angel airs Mondays at 9 p.m. EDT on the WB.

so there you go! Squashing all rumors of Charisma leaving the show...AND promising some nice little C/A for all of us C/Aers.
 
My friends were afraid Charisma would be leaving because of that spoiler, but I knew TPTB will do something to bring her back.

Angel and Cordy realizing their love? Oh geez. Yeah, right. 🙄
 
Cordelia and Angel? Thats just weird! Angel and Buffy belong together!
 
Nah I'm pretty much swing to the Angel Cordy side of life, getting back with exes never works because both of you have changed....in the main anyway🙂

yes she is going to be on season 4 it say on the WB site for the new shows next FALL 2002 - 2003

If you picture Cordy like she was on Buffy...then yeah, it's so hard to see her with Angel...But these days they are so sweet together!

Is Carpenter Out Of Angel?

Charisma Carpenter, who plays Cordelia in The WB's vampire series Angel, may or may not return next season, according to columnist Watch with Wanda on E! Online. Carpenter disappeared from the series for a month last season, and her character ascended onto another plane of existence in the season finale.

"Last week, a WB source (whose scoops have always been dead-on) told me it had not been decided yet whether Charisma Carpenter would return to Angel, as she has been struggling with a personal problem that affected production this season," Wanda reported. "Charisma was allegedly told to take a month off to take care of it, and if she didn't, she'd be out."

But Carpenter's agent denied a personal problem, telling Wanda that "Charisma is coming back next season. We received her pickup orders today. Maybe they're confusing her with [Witchblade star] Yancy Butler." Butler took a month off in the middle of production on the TNT show's upcoming second season to deal with alcohol addiction, but will reportedly return to work next week.
 
I've heard about this one as well, but I find it a little worrying that they feel she is being confused with a woman with alchohol addiction, and they don't look at all alike. But hey it could all just be a scam to get us to pay more attention!!

Besides what about the perfect bliss clause in his curse.

Not that it would be perfect bliss with Cordelia, and not that I would mind seeing Angelus again (those leather pants), but the idea is just...............wrong!

I think JustAnotherFan was talking about Charisma's manager saying she'd been signed to next year, having recieved her pick up instructions. Correct me if I'm wrong 🙂
