Cordelia's flatmate...

I just watched episode 12 in Angel season1 ("Expecting"). The storyline was like this: Cordelia had a one-night-stand with a guy called Willson. The next morning she wake up and she is pregnant! And then there was a epic scene for me! After Angel and Wesley promised her to find a solution Cordi tell them that she want to calm now, allone. She is so desperatly and starts crying. She is allone, but than her invisible ghost-flatmate gives her some (kleenex)papers and covers her with her blanket!

This ghost-flatmate (sorry I forgott his name), made a lot of points for me there! I really like him since that scene! What do you think? I didn't finish season 1 of Angel so sorry if I left important things of her "flatmate" out of view! I just wantet to remember some of you about him!

Phantom Dennis was very good to Cordy... He took care of her, since she didn't have anyone else there to do it. Especially
later in the show, when the visions started taking a lot out of her, physically
.
 
Oh I love phantom Dennis, he's so sweet to Cordy. Really makes me wish I had my own live-in ghost 😀

Haha(smirk) I think not all of them would bee so nice like Dennis!
I always regretted the way that he was left there (apparently) once more all alone in the apartment when Cordy left. We never saw or heard anything else about him, and I've always had the vision of Dennis sitting there in the apartment waiting patiently for Cordy to return. Hopefully, as a Higher Being, she was able to free him from the apartment so that he could finally go to his long awaited rest.

Phantom Dennis is awesome from the episode he's introduced! He's established as a good ghost. I always wished I had a nice ghost living with me. He could protect the house from robbers and scare away any creepers! I just recently rewatched Expecting also, and it was a pretty creepy episode.
 
Anyone remember the loofa(or however it's spelled)-comment? So funny. Maybe not as dirty as it sounded, but it gave me weird ideas.

Yes, I remember! (since I only saw that episode today ;) )
Yeah, for someone nobody can see, I really like him. He always knows what to do in different situations.

Do you think we would like him less if we could see him?? I think yes. Now everybody has a picture inside his head. A picture would destroy this portray and he would just meet deny in our heads! Or what do you think?

What? A picture inside our heads? We know what he looks like, if that's what you mean.

But does he look like the ghost we saw when he fought against his mother? Or is he just energie or a real person like Joyce's ghost in BTVS? I mean if you try to let a face appear in your mind when you think about him, how would he looks like and would you like it if Joss or anyone else would try to set another picture against your's? I think that it would be intersting to see how you would look like a ghost but I still think that my imagination is better. Or do you just think he has no face at all he just should stay invisible!

Ahh, now I understand what you mean, if I remember me right, there were some really short sequences in Angel season 1 where you can see his face very shortly! But for me it was too fast and I forgot him! Maybe this picture is in your head now?

I see what you mean. And yeah, I kind of imagine him like he was alive, just pale and sicklooking. And with telekinsesis abilities.
I love Phantom Dennis. Even his name is awesome 😛

I love how he gets the birthday stuff for Cordelia in 'Birthday'. (even if he did give the surprise to Fred and Gunn instead of Cordy 😉 )
 
I love the scene where Angel leaves the bulk of the party in Cordy's apartment and goes into the kitchen, and asks Dennis how hes doing, and Dennis gives him a beer. Its great because Angel and Dennis can relate, by Angel saying "Still dead, huh?"
