Where was Cordy living in that episode? (The messy room with Doyle...)
If she was living in an apartment building, how did Angel get in the main doorway?
I get that it could be a public place but it's not as public as a hospital is it?

And if she was living in a home (house), did she own it? If not Angel should not have been able to go into that place either.

Apartment. It's always been established that Angel could enter anywhere except for the threshold of a human's dwelling. He can even enter a hotel room, but not a dorm room (without an invite).
