Top ten favorite Cangel scenes 😀 I started this forever ago I havent finished it yet. But I thought I'd post what I had. Spread some Cangel love:
10. 3x18 - Double or Nothing
They don't have to say anything and yet this moment is just so powerful. Angel is in so much pain after losing Connor and Cordelia not only feels his pain but shares it. He is hurting so she is hurting. They have such a strong bond that they share eachothers pain and heartbreak which is why this is one of my favorite Cangel scenes.
9. 1x11 - Somnambulist
ANGEL: It's still in me, Cordelia.
CORDELIA: Sure it's in you. We all have *something*. But it's not the only thing that's in you. You're not him, Angel. Not anymore. The name I got in my vision, the message didn't come for Angelus, it came for you. Angel. And you have to trust that whoever The Powers That Be be, -are, is"¦ anyway, they know the difference.
ANGEL: Yeah.
CORDELIA: People really *do* change.
This is the scene that made me decide to ship Cangel. I already shipped them because I started watching for them, but when I started watching from the beginning this was the scene that stood out and made me go wow, they are truly special. It may seem like an insignificant scene to a lot of people but to me it shows how well Cordy gets Angel, right from the beginning. She always knows exactly what to say. And without even trying she can pull him out of his brood. He needs that, he needs her to tell him how it is. And this scene to me shows their relationship exactly like it is. Brutally honest with a complete understanding of eachother.
8. Supersymmetry - Were we in love?
This a scene that has recently become one of my favorites. I rarely watch season four cause I hate that season, most of it isn't really Cordy anyway. However this scene is Cordy. She is asking Angel if they were in love. The look on his face, the pain and sadness; it breaks my heart. He loves her, you can tell that he loves her by the way he looks at her. It makes the follow up to this scene all the more heartbreaking.
At the end of Spin the Bottle when Angel asks Jasmine!Cordy were they in love he looks so hopeful for a brief moment but everything has changed now and hearing her say it isn't as beautiful as hearing the real cordy ask it. Even getting the yes Angel so desperately wanted its bittersweet for both him and the audience. He loves her and she is now in pain, or so it seems, they feel eachothers pain. So the fact that she said yes they were in love does little more then add to his heartbreak since she cant bear to be around him.
Season four just wanted to crush our cangel hearts.
7. Billy
Angel: "You're not the one who broke him out and put him back on the streets. I did that."
Cordy: "For me. You did it to save me."
Angel: "And I'd do it again."
Cordy: "Angel"¦"
I love this episode so much. This scene and their final scene when they are practicing with the swords I find so beautiful. Angel would do anything for Cordy. He knows letting Billy out was wrong, that he is the cause of those peoples death by letting Billy go free. But because Cordelia was at risk, he did. And he would do it again. He would do anything for her.
6. Disharmony
How can anyone not love this scene? They are so adorable! I think this is the happiest we see Angel, physically happy. He has the biggest smile on his face, and he is just so happy that Cordelia is happy and has forgiven him.
5. To Shanshu In LA
Angel: Cordelia - I'm gonna fix this. Promise. I'm gonna get you back. I need you back.
When Angel runs in and the doctors asks are you family and he says yes without hesistation I knew from that moment on this was going to be one of my favorite episodes. There are so many great scenes and lines in this episode, it truly is one of the best.
Angel needs Cordelia, he figures that out long before they fall in love. They need each other because they support one other and bring out the best in each other. Without each other they are lost. Particularly Angel, without Cordy he always loses his way. So when he says he needs her he means it.
Also people grow up! There are many different types of Family. Just because he says she's his family doesn't mean he sees her as his sister or that is incestuous. I mean come, really?

This scene has been one of my favorites since the moment I saw it. The way his face just lights up. His grin stretching from ear to ear just by hearing her say that she loves him touches my heart. I honestly don't understand how someone could watch this scene and not ship them?! They are beyond adorable.
This scene is one of the scenes just scream LOVE to me. He loves her, hearing her say she loves him made him beam.
