I love Cordy and Angel's relationship, I think thats why a resent Groo so much. I hate that Skip wouldnt bend the rules and give her a minnute to at least leave Angel a not of some sort, and I know this is a season 3 board...but season 4 Cordy plot line SUCKS!

Don't even get me started on how much I love Cordy and Angel together. They are my favorite ship ever.Second is Willow and Tara.I wish they would've gotten together. They would've been perfect for each other. They would be the kind of couple that would never split up.

cordy and angel would have been so great together!! i can't belive they never got together!! excpet for their kiss in 'you're welcome' which had me bouncing around on cloud nine until 'that phone call'

Yeah. Cangel is like the only ship I really really like. Sure others can be nice together and all, but Cangel is like the only ship that matters. I love how their relationship is based on a friendship and that they are actually the ones who know eachother better than anyone else.

I have never been a big fan of Cangel. The reason is.....I HAVE NO IDEA. It's not like I dislike either character. I admit that they have great chemistry together and know each other better than they know themselves sometimes. For some reason though, I just didn't want them to get together. I wouldn't have been pissed if they did get together, I just wanted them to stay close friends for some reason.

I think it would have been so good to see Cordy and Angel together, and I hate that we never really got to see them like that, but I think that is also what makes their relationship work so well is the fact that it never happened, we have all only pictured it and we picture it as good all the time, But we know if they did get together something would have happened to destroy them. I still wish we could have seen more of them as a couple.

Yuck. I don't like them together. I resent the idea that made them a couple. I mean what was Joss thinking? I didn't buy the love between them. Cordelia was better off with Groo and was meant to be with Doyle. Angel and Cordy didn't have a chemistry whatsoever and besides Angel turned into a puppy around her. It was a bad idea, that two, a very bad idea.

Puppy? What no! The only person he became a puppy around was Buffy. I mean Cordy and Angel were equals. They were sweet towards eachother and considerate and not all wrapped up in their own feelings which made it so much more real and amazing than any type of crash and burn romance (read Bangel).

Couldn't have said it better myself.

I wonder if Angel would have lost his soul with Cordy they way he did with Buffy?

I'm a Bangel shipper, but I have to admit they had something special. I don't know.....maybe he and Buffy would have been together and maybe they wouldn't have.....I can always dream! Angel and Cordy would have been great, too. Maybe I just wanted Angel to be happy, no matter who with. But not TOO happy!

That would be very interesting to find out, I have no idea, purely on a storyline bases I don't think he would have because they already did that, but still interesting.

But to be fair he cried out Buffy once he lost his soul. And that sorta says a lot about unfinished business.
That was such a slap in the face for dream Cordy. But it does kinda make sense that when he lost his soul he mentioned Buffy's name.I mean the last time he lost it,it was because of Buffy so he probably remembered that the moment he lost his soul and said her name.

Yeah and all the dream guy was after all recreting a memory that alreasy existing using his dreams and hopes. I like to see it as he had to cry out Buffy because the only way he could actually lose his soul was to feel what hefelt last time, but if it hadn't been a dream, but reality I think there would have been no Buffy said at all. Makes sense?

Really? It didn't show. [Did she say anything about it afterwards because honestly I don't remember the figurative slap, she acted like he named her name not Buffy's, maybe she didn't hear it?]

I don't know. I mean most ATS fans don't know or watch BTVS or hadn't watched BTVS before ATS and they were the target audience. All the romance between Cordelia and Angel, portrayal of Darla... were for this target audience. I guess Buffy's name was uttered because Angel's mind was wandering on Buffy when he was making love to Cordelia.

See that's the thing we never got to see her face. He just became all oh ah and then said Buffy and they focused on his face. Besides what she did or didn't do is sorta irrelevant seeing how she wasn't actually Cordy.

It's true about the not watching BtVS part, but still I think it works both ways. If you've watched BtVS the characters are still the same characters only gets a bit more deepth. And if you haven't then the story works on it's own as well.

Oh and I'll just try to ignore that last sentence, because that would never happen in my world!
