After my two eldest took an interest in my Buffy comics, I decided to let the eldest watch "Welcome to the Hellmouth" with me to see if he thinks it is too scary or not. (The jury is still out on the question, we've taken a break at 23 minutes.) The first time we saw Cordelia, he asked me if she will become a vampire. "No," I said, "why?" "She had such a nasty [expression in her] face," he replied, "so I thought she'd change."

cute! :)
Lol, that's funny. I guess it makes sense, she is quite mean in the first episode and seems like she could be a disposable "mean girl" meant to be vampified 🙂 Glad she wasn't though.

Lol well is it just sad that my three year old can reconize Buffy, Spike, Angel, Willow and Lorne and knows that your supposed to stake a vampire. (I swear i dident show him BTVS on purpose) He understands that its all pretend and everything he just happens to come sit and watch it with me when Im watchin it.

My two neices watch Buffy there 6 and 11 they stay away from monster heavy eps

the 6 year old love Him and All the way S7 eps she alway asking to watch the RJ ep I had to set though it about 6 times now

The 11 year old likes Willow eps I just showed her the last 5 min of Seeing red and the Dark Willow trilogy (I skiped over the Spike and Buffy scene in the bathroom she not ready for that she kinda likes Spike anyway) She was sad at Taras death it hit her harder when Dawn is just there when Buffy walks in afterwords she ask how Willow gets better
and I showed her the Willow bits at the start of S7 I dint show her Same time same place because even I cant stand the Gnarl

Yea, you obviously cant show little kids everything. He likes OMWF and other episodes that are less scary and he likes Smile Time on Angel. And he likes to see Spike fighting (thats little boys for you lol) Its funny though cause when he plays with his cousins they're all "im a power ranger" and he's like "im a vampire" (only my child)

We watched "The Puppet Show" today (my oldest's request) and my 5-year-old said "Yikes, Mom! That girl is mean!" talking about Cordelia... The funny thing is that she wasn't even that mean in that episode. LOL

LMFAO. Cordy's singing could be considered pretty mean to the ears. Maybe that's what she meant?
He decided that it's too scary for now. I'm glad he did, as I would have made that decision if he didn't. :rolleyes2: He's pretty sensitive, so we're normally strict on the age recommendations on films.

Aw, that's cute he was able to decide if it was too scary for himself. 🙂 When I was a kid, I would watch anything I could, even if it meant nightmares. 😛
