Okay I got a question, not really that interesting but still valid i think..
When did you think Cordy was pregnant?? I mean I know she told Connor in Release (or maybe Orpheus) but I gotta say I knew way before that.. She had put on a lot of weight from the beginning of the season, and with the way she was acting, I just knew it couldn't be Cordy - just don't know how Angel and the others didn't!!!
 
Well she put on a lto of weight because Charisma was pregnant so you cant really judge by that. I dont remember much of season 4 well enough (its the one I dont have) so I couldnt comment on how she was acting.

However, Im curious about what would have happened in the show, the whole season 4 arc, if Charisma had not gotten pregnant. I doubt Joss had that arc thought up before hand. That would be an incredible coincidence, so I wonder what would have happened.
 
as far as i can remember, Joss' plan was for Cordy to be the Big Bad of the season. but i think Charisma 'forgot' to mention the fact that she was pregnant until very late in fliming, so they had to change the rest of the season. which could explaon some of the small continuity errors that we noticed at the beginning of the season.
obviously, Charisma couldn't do many of the stunts that they would have neened her to do, which is why she couldn't be the ultimate Big Bad...just sort of a lacky in the end.
 
I wonder if Conner was actually the father. Did she just sleep with him to make him believe so? (I say this because evil cordy told so many lies it is hard to believe what is true and what isn't)I would of loved for Cordy to of been the big bad without the pregnancy arc it was just wrong! a rip off expecting.
 
no, Connor was definitely Jasmine's father...she even tells him so 'Why do you think i chose you to be my father?' or something to that effect.
 
If I remember correctly originally there never was going to be a "Gina Torres" Jasmine and the arc was going to play out that Cordy had been possessed by an evil PtB after she ascended. It was supposed to be just Charisma playing the big bad right up until the end, with no mention of a pregnancy or Jasmine being "born".

Obviously they altered it to first of all account for Charisma being very pregnant and then later to allow for her to have time off the show altogether to give birth, hence why Gina was brought in as Jasmine.

As for when she became pregnant, you could certainly see that Charisma was pregnant from almost her first appearance in season four but the character officially became pregnant in Apocalypse Nowish.

Cordy was herself (except for the lack of memory) up until Lorne awoke Jasmine in Spin the Bottle. After that point it was still mostly Cordy for a while but Jasmine began subconsciously influencing her more and more until she finally took her over entirely some time around Awakening.
 
I knew she was pregnant the very first episode of Season 4. I turned to my hubby and said "she is PREGNANT!"

Just like I knew Amanda Peet was pregnant over a month ago when watching Studio 60 on Sunset Strip...she wasn't showing or anything but I could just 'tell' ...don't forget they probably filmed that eppy quite a while ago so I realize it is common knowledge now.
 
so was cordy going to actually be evil herself if charisma hadn't gotten pregnant or was she still going to be posessed?? if she had actually been evil i think i'd have been verrry dissappointed..
