Who's the man that's best for Cordy to be with at the end? Angel or Xander? And explain why you picked who you picked:smile3:

My vote is pretty obvious but I'll explain anyway! I picked Xander not only because Cander is my favorite ship, but I also think that Cander still has potential for being a long lasting relaionship, and that Xander and Cordy still had some love for eachother when they broke up season 3.

I think Angel / Cordy, I love how their relationship developed, it felt so natural and you could see an amazing mutual love and respect for one another.

A meeting between Xander and Cordy after both of them had matured and grew up would be gold. He could see how much of a beautiful, kind person she became and she could see how much he had grown as a person and is no longer a the 'loser' she dated in high school.

I think Cander is ridiculously underrated. Looking at Cordy's future relationships, or just history with guys, I think it shows how much Xander really did hurt her. She didn't act like she wanted to date much at all, and when she did, it was just flings (until Groo came along)

I think she had fell in love with him, and by the time she left Sunnydale, she had came to also respect and care for him, even after he had cheated on her.

And, I think Xander didn't realize the extent of his feelings until she left too.

Her special friendship with Angel should've been left untouched, but I won't get into why I dislike Cangel here since I've said a million times over.

I think Cordy and Xander, had she not died, would've had a very wonderful relationship later down the line. It's a shame we never got to see them interact post S3.

Agreed. They would have been even more beautiful if they lasted longer. Cander karma:)
Xander. We saw them as couple in High School, and if they were ready then to change so much, I'm interested how they would look like now. I think they would make really good couple. But mostly, I don't like Cordy and Angel as couple.

Seriously, Xander? It was just some silly high school hook-up, nothing real.

Of course I voted for Angel. They just had what I feel is the perfect love connection. It's a pity they never really got together.

I voted for Angel, of course. But I almost vote for Xander. But...just because I thought this thread is about if Cordy was gonna get married, who'd be her best man. 😀

You made the wrong choice. Please try again. xD
Cordy/Xander was very entertaining to watch, but does anyone seriously think that such consistent insulting of each other would lead to a healthy relationship?

Cordelia and Angel had a beautiful relationship that blossomed over the course of many years. They grew with each other - she helped him become a happier, more human person, and was his strength through thick and thin, he was always there for each other, he trusted in her strength and helped her become a champion. They became better people just by being with each other, and above all were so much happier with each other. When do you think Cordelia was happier, when Xander called her a vapid whore or when Angel brought her food? I know which one would make me happier. (And for that matter, I think Xander is better off with someone who sees what a selfless, important hero he is, not someone who calls him a nerd and tells him that he's Mr Useless).

I liked Cordy and Xander together as a couple, simply because they actually did something about their relationship, rather than spending co much time mooning over each other without ever actually acting on their desires. (Besides which, I don't like the idea of Cordy messing around with Nina's guy)

Nina's guy. xD Nice.
I've enjoyed watching Xander/Cordelia more. And I like the couple more. I think them getting together after they grew up and matured would be so interesting, but they should keep the snark, perhaps not as sharp as when they were kids, but Xander/Cordelia without snark? Dull.

I don't think Cordy should be with either if i'am honest. Angel's ultimate love in my opinion is Buffy whilst she just doesn't fit with Xander. She's much more mature and her drive for independence means Xander doesn't work in my view. Xander works a lot better with Anya because she's clearly devoted to him, Cordelia was never like that.

I Think If Xander and Willow Hadn't Had A Fling, Xander and Cordelia Would Have Lasted (IMO)

I don't think Xander can't work with an independent woman. Actually, I think he works better with her than someone who worships him like Anya did. Xander needs someone who can point out when he steps out of line, and Cordelia is much better than Anya in this area.

Also, by S7, Xander's maturity level reached Cordelia's, so I think both of them mature kids can work it out.

I Think Angel and Cordelia would have been wonderful together, if only it had been a possibility. Friendshhip, trust, support are the very root of their relationship. If you add love, what can be more more powerful and beautiful? Cordy/Xander is high- school, Cordy/Angel is an adult, deep and never ending relationship. For me, anyway

I think he prefers someone like Anya because she thinks the world of him. Xander has a serious self-confidence problem, therefore who would he rather be with - the woman who tells him he's brave and kind, or the woman that repeatedly calls him a loser?

I think both women are bad for Xander. Anya finds it hard to criticize Xander, which makes him act in ways that she doesn't like, but because she loves him she can't tell him he's out of line. Cordelia finds it hard to praise Xander, and that's also bad.

Xander needs someone who isn't afraid to call him on his flaws, and still appreciate him for the great man he is. A mix between Anya/Cordelia perhaps?
