Does anyone else think that Charisma was adorable when she started punching that no neck in the episode "Helpless"? I thought it was so funny. I just saw the episode and Cordelia was great in that one little scene. The whole "Oh god, is the world ending?" moment was great too but I loved her little confrontation better. It's weird to think that she didn't know how to fight way back in Buffy but by the end of Angel she could kick ass with the best of them. Let that no neck put his hands on her now.

Saved by Cordelia? When I saw the preceding episode "Gingerbread" for the second time, I realized that Cordelia is the unlikely heroine in it. With everyone else abducted, incapacitated, on the run or whatnot, she's the one who revives Giles by slapping him awake in Buffy's house-"Now, let's be clear. The brain damage happened BEFORE I hit you!" lol!-and helps him cast the spell to defeat the demon and save the day. It's funny, the scene of the burning where Cordelia has to be told to extinguish the fire around Buffy and Willow.

Cordelia in her offbeat way was a vital character in those first three seasons of Buffy. I wish she could have reprised her role in a crossover, or at least have been mentioned again, in the later seasons.

LOL Yeah, I love the quote where Buffy says she was saved by Cordelia. I agree with you watcher1006. Cordelia really was a vital part of the group those first three seasons. She has saved the group and even had research breakthroughs (Even if it was by accident). In the episode Prophecy Girl, she saved Willow and Jenny from the vampires. In Dark Age, she stopped Ethan from escaping by kicking him. In What's My line 2, she killed the bug man with Xander's help. In Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered she kicked ass. Although I was disappointed that she didn't slap Harmony back. In I only have eyes for you, she was part of the mango triangle pod. There are a lot of others but I'll be here awhile. Cordy was heroic in Buffy but she did have her share of getting the gang into trouble with the invisible girl and the reptile boy. I also wish she would have crossed over to Buffy or at least have been mentioned but she turned out great in Angel.

I loved the episode Helpless and I felt really bad for Buffy when she couldn't stand up to that guy and she got tossed back and flipped over the bench.

When Cordy started the little punches though, that was quite funny. It was a moment that was cool but as an overall episode, it was sad.
