Sorry about the lack of action in that installment 😀 I'm trying to set something up. But I promise, the ending will be worthwhile 🙂

Cordelia entered the hotel and immediately focused her eyes on the small blonde girl quickly approaching her. She was petite and definitely beautiful, but there was a hardness in her eyes that Cordelia picked up on right away. This must be Buffy, and she looks like she means business.
Buffy extended her hand to Cordelia and introduced herself.
Buffy: "I'm Buffy Summers. Sorry for all the confusion with being activated and all, but we're glad to have found you Cordelia. Not too many of these girls have had the experience of being trained by a Watcher most of their lives."
Buffy looked at Comma, who was standing closely by Cordelia's side.
Buffy: "I'm guessing this isn't the guy who's been training you since you were younger, since he'd be like 5 then right?"
Cordelia laughed and felt some of the tension that had built up on the ride over release.
Cordelia (smirking): "This is my new watcher Comma. He was assigned to me a few days earlier. Everything's gone downhill since I met him."
Comma reflected a nervous smile at Buffy and quickly settled back into seriousness.
Buffy: "We'll Willow over there (pointing to an attractive redhead), had been in contact with a powerful coven during our brief stay in Europe. They told her of a battle, the final battle, and that it was to all go down in an alleyway not far from here in two days. We were told that without the help of the newly empowered slayers, that evil would overpower this plane and that a crucial warrior for the side of good would be lost forever - so here we are and here you are with us. We're spending the next two days gearing ourself up for battle by securing weaponry and training some of the most clueless of these new girls in basic battle tactics. Willow's been in touch with the coven and is trying to get all the details she can out of them. Last I heard, there's supposed to be a dragon involved..."
Comma: "Well, what do you have planned for the Watchers?"
Buffy: "You can go check in with Giles over there (she points to an older tweed-clad man with glasses). He'll fill you in on your role.
Buffy turns again to Cordelia.
Buffy: "You can come with me. I'll show you where to change and get you out there training and assessing your skill level with the weapons we've gotten together."
Cordelia looks from Buffy back to Comma.
Cordelia: "We'll I guess I'll be seeing you again later, I hope."
She smiled kindly at him and felt her stomach turn at the thought of this being their final meeting before the battle.
