So.. they decided to make a corncob pillow..

where the kernels can be individually removed (via velcro) and the cob rolled out to make a play mat

For some reason Bon Jovi's song 'Bed of Roses' instantly entered my head. 🙂

But will this help children learn that they need to eat their vegetables? Or will they end up with sprouts under their pillow? 😛

It probably won't help kids learn that they need to eat thier veggies because it's a pillow/playmat that would make then view it as a toy more than anything.
It MIGHT cause kids to put sprouts under their pillows, but most would figure out pretty fast that sprouts don't grow under pillows or feel pillow-like 😛

Most likely, this would only result in giant corn kernels being scattered all over the house and in the yard for some grownup (hopefully the one who bought the thing in the first place) to pick up.

In other words, "Bah, humbug."
