I mostly preferred the non headliners! The Royal Collaboration was beautiful, Lucy was amazing on the piano. The drone lights were just incredible.

I missed the tiaras. But it was a lovely ceremony. Charles looked a bit nervous. I was happy for him, he's literally waited a lifetime for this.

Why is Louis an awful child? (From earlier in the thread). I don’t know anything about the kids, so it seems so harsh to say. But maybe deserved?
He was just a bored 5 year old in a 2 hour long church service! Nothing special about it, I thought he did very well for as long as he did.

Yeah I wouldn't say awful because he's only 5 but there's a pattern of him being naughty and a free spirit in public. Like in this clip, from a year ago when he was 4 he tried to pull a little girl's hair and put his hand over his mother's mouth.

It is pretty amazing how much kids can get away with lately, there has been a real shift from making them the next lot of working adults, to now them being worshiped as the sole hope and future of the world. Perhaps its just the age I am at (mid 30's) so all of my friends who have small children are completely under their spell. They can do no wrong. I look forward to their teen years 😊

Council Estates are(or more accurately 'were') an attempt to provide low cost social housing managed by the local authority . They can be as large as a town or just a row of houses . They were our answer to slums and bombed out cities . Failed pretty spectacularly in the urban context but out by me in the hinterlands , there are some gorgeous little council houses tucked away in the villages . A few sketchy settlements too . Even total despicable scumbags deserve a chance to have a normal family life when they have kids , and council dwellings fulfilled that need . Still do ,to an extent , but I think Housing Associations manage the properties now .
