Could Anya hurt Xander if she could?

All those times in season 6 post "Hell's Bells" do you think Anya could hurt or kill Xander if she could with all the rage and anger she had inside her

No, i don't think she could have, she loved him too much and that's why she was so mad, i think she thought she could hurt him but no way.

Similar to Buffy and Angel post 'Surprise' in season 2 the hurt and betrayal was there but Buffy couldn't kill him no matter what he'd done. I think Anya felt the same way about Xander.

No. If she was capable of really hurting him that probably would have been the time she would have done it. Even sleeping with Spike wasn't done maliciously to hurt Xander.

If you mean why Anya didn't physically hurt or kill Xander at that time, the two simplest explanations would be that, for some reason never mentioned, a vengeance demon is incapable of physically attacking a human, or, more likely, it just never occurred to her to bash his brains out with a ball bat. Then again, maybe she wanted to inflict some sort of eternal torture on him,similar to the demon who kept cutting Lyndsay's, then Gunn's heart out in Season 5 of "Angel " rather than giving him a quick, relatively merciful death.

I think she could, as she was pretty diligent in her quest to exact vengeance on Xander, but she would regret it very much afterwards.
